Katniss' POV:
Me and Peeta have been crying for ages and now my eyes and -I'm pretty sure his are to- face are red. I get dressed in our bathroom while he changes in our bedroom. We both wear simple clothes. Not much going on today anyway.
I walk downstairs and try to forget that now my whole entire life is over. Gone to this stupid marriage! I ball my hands and push my thumb in and out of my fist. This is so unfair, me and Peeta were never asked! Y/N and Gale were never asked! All for stupid bits of metal and paper. Money.

Peeta's POV:
Katniss walks downstairs and I just lie in bed sighing. Y/N will definitely fall for Gale! I mean he's tall, has an amazing build and he manages to make anyone blush! Even ME!

My longing for Y/N makes my heart ache! No matter how hard I try she won't leave my head. I rub my head hard. Really hard. Hoping that maybe the pain will distract me from her beautiful y/e/c eyes, her amazing smile and her laugh like a babies first giggle.

A/N: I need to try and Y/N more realistic bc my laugh sounds like Satan's fart after curry night.
I stand up and walk out of our room praying that my mother or father aren't there. But they are.
"Hello mr and mrs Fiancé!" My mother squeals. She's never really liked me but she's always loved Katniss. Always said that she would win the Hunger Games. Always given her a discount in food. (Apart form that one time). "Stooooop!" I groan. This was going to be a long morning.

Gales POV:
I asked Y/N if she was ready but she just stopped talking at looked into my eyes. "Y/N, are you ok?" I ask pushing her hair behind her ear. She curls up into a ball and lies next to me. "I'm not ready. Gale it would be my first time and I-"
"It's fine," I whisper to her, "Shhhhhh go to sleep. I'll still be here." I wrap my body around her and kiss her hair until she starts to breath heavily and falls asleep. Her hair is so gorgeous, so soft and silky.
When she sleeps her whole face rests, no scowls, no smiles just Y/N. I kiss her cheek and whisper "I love you." To her. And this time I really mean it.

A/N: so normally I would leave it here but I've only written 427 words and that's not sir tbh so I am going to carry on lol.

Your POV:
I wake up again and see that Gale did keep his promise. He's still there holding me. I close my eyes hoping I could stay like this forever, safe and warm. He kissed my cheek thinking I'm still asleep and whispers in my ear "I love you." Giving me actual chills.
I shiver and he thinks it's because I'm cold so he take the duvet of him and puts all on me but still holds my hand.
He rubs my knuckles with his thumb and kisses each of them before standing up. He grabs black trousers and a pale red shirt. He took of his shirt. I didn't look at it properly before. It was toned and he's tanned all over. They weren't disgustingly big or anything but you could tell he worked out and was healthy. He put on the shirt (much to my disappointment). But as he took of his pants I rolled over. To far. It creeps me out a bit thinking that I am going to have to see it and have kids with him. Oh God!

Katniss' POV:
I've been down here with Peeta for ages with his parents "ooohing" and "aaaahing" at everything I say. I know they're only trying to be friendly to make up for yelling at me, but it seem so pathetic.
I stand up and say "well I better see how Y/N and Gale are getting on!" Anything to get out that house.
I'm Peeta stands up and comes with me knowing how I feel about Gale and I him and Y/N. He has liked her for ages now. On our first day of school I met Y/N and we got along really well but then my father fired and times were really rough. I tried to find some bread in the bakers bins but Mrs Mellark yelled at me and I collapsed out of hunger and exhaustion.
Peers burned bread just he could give it to me. I introduced him snd Y/N and well she didn't pay much attention at the time but he fell head over heels in love with her. Everything was about Y/N "is Y/N coming with us?" "When will Y/N be here?" "What do you think Y/N is doing?"
One day she moved closer to him, not because he was there but for her fathers job. They became best friends then and did everything together.
Like me and Gale...

A/N: AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH IM PAST MY TARGET!!! 859 words!!! It's not slot but I'm impressed. So what do you think so far? I know it's moving quite slowly but there will less POV changes now and a few time skips.
