Firefly's PoV

"Firefly get of that damn hoverboard or you'll break something!" Mama yelped. I hovered down the stairs and jumped off it when I reached the bottom. "Morning mama." I said and gave my mom a kiss on the cheek. "Get a room." a voice mocked. I turned around to see Kyle, my stupid younger brother. I walked over to him and shoved him playfully. I looked up at the clock and noticed I was going to be late for my first day. I grabbed a pancake off the plate and my hover board. "Bye guys!" I yelled as I ran out the door.

Hi my name is Firefly, the adopted daughter of Anna Griffin and sister of Kyle Griffin. Mama told me that after her husband died she found me floating on her doorstep. I was in a basket sitting on a hover board so I was literally floating. She says that when she found me the basket I was in had a note that read "Please take care of Firefly, I trust that you protect her from Vega.". She told me that Vega means falling star in Arabic but my question is who is Vega.
