Chapter 13: Awake
Luke's POV:
A light shone through. The darkness that surrounded me was split in half like a knife. Ashton was all I could think of, even in the darkness, even after I knew that he lied to me. I tried moving my fingers and they did but only slightly. I tried opening my eyes and for a second my eyes caught with a heartbroken, shocked Ashton. Then my eyelids fell again. I moved my fingers. I heard talking and I heard someone moving to a machine. As soon as I heard this I tried to move suddenly my life flashed before my eyes.
I fought against the memories knowing if I didnt I'd b dragged back into the darkness. I fought and fought.
"ASHTON PLEASE HELP ME!" I screamed and I felt a calming hand in my hand. Cutting through the darkness I heard him in his little mumble "Luke, I love you, come back to me"
I fought the demons, my mistakes, and suddenly my eyes opened and met the hazel eyes of my love. He smiled, tears still rushing down his cheeks. I lifted myself up enough and kissed away his tears, then I kissed him. He kissed me back with a passion.
"I love you too, Ashton. I'll always come back to you." I whispered.
He smiled again, starting to cry again. I wiped the tears away looking into his eyes. He was the person I loved more than anything. And now that I was awake I'd show him.
