*Krista's P.O.V*

I felt someone jump on my bed. I groaned and flipped over to see my best friend(and secret crush), Luke Brooks laying beside me, smiling.

"Guess what day it is today" he smirked.

"Thursday?" I questioned, raising my eyebrows.

"No silly! It's your first day at school with me, Jai, Kiara and Ariana!"

I frowned and slipped under my covers. Luke pulled them right off me and picked me up over his shoulder. No matter how hard I kept hitting him, he still wouldn't budge. As soon as he put me down, everyone in the Brooks' household was standing there with a big smile on their face.

"Ummm, this is creeping me out." I stated, moving closer to Luke.

"Nonsense, but go get ready for school love! Jai and Luke will protect you whenever you need them!" Gina yelled.

I laughed louder than I should have. Beau came up to me and whispered,

"If anyone hurts you, they will have to go through me."

I nodded and giggled. Luke then came behind me and put his arms around my waist. We always do these kinds of things. Did I mention I live with the Brooks? Well now I did. Family problems.. But Luke and I have been the closest since I got here. Lately though, I have been getting closer to Jai. He has a girlfriend named Ariana Grande. She is also one of my best friends. She is the most amazing person ever. My other best friend has a thing with Beau. Her name is Kiara. Her and Beau makeout whenever and it's pretty funny because they deny liking each other.

"Krista" I heard a deep voice say.

I turn around to see it was Jai.

"Oh, hey Jai." I smiled

He smiled and sat down on my bed. He looked up at me with a weird look in his eyes. Lust? No it can't be. He has Ariana.

"What's on your mind, Beanie?" I asked

Me and the Brooks brothers have cute nicknames for each other. We came up with them when we were just little.

"Ariana. I feel like she doesn't love me anymore." he replied, looking down at the ground.

Before I could speak, Luke came in and said,

"Krista! Faggot! We gotta go!"

I laughed at what he called Jai. I grabbed my bag and left to go to Penola or whatever it's called. It is my first day, I am not supposed to know.

*Luke's P.O.V*

As me, Jai and Krista were walking to school, we heard Kiara and Ariana coming. Ariana went up and hugged Jai and Kiara said hi to all of us. I looked at Krista for a quick second. She is the most beautiful girl ever. I can't really fall in love with my best friend, but I can't help it.

"Oi Kiara, what did you and Beau do last night?" Jai smirked, winking at her.

Kiara blushed and replied,

"We just watched a movie."

"Bullshit" I coughed.

We all laughed and soon enough, we were in hell.

*Jai's P.O.V*

When we entered the school, I kissed Ariana goodbye and then left with Krista. I was supposedly being a tour guide for her. She came running into my arms and gave me her schedule.

"We have almost all the same classes together!" I smiled

She nodded and asked,

"Where's English?"

I held out my hand and faked a British accent,

"Follow me, my lady."

Krista laughed and took my hand. I hate to admit it, but I think I have a crush on her.

*Krista's P.O.V*

English was hell. I wasn't very strong in that subject, but I could tell Jai was. After English was Science and then was lunch. So Science went by quickly, mainly because we were fooling around, but now was lunch. Jai and I walked toward the cafeteria and saw our group of friends. I also saw Skip and James. Ariana ran over to Jai and kissed him. I walked over and sat next to Luke. He turned around and smiled at me. He leaned in to kiss my cheek and after he did, my face was a bright red.

"Oi Luke, you and Krista should date. You two would make a cute couple." smirked James.

Again, I blushed a deeper red and so did Luke. Kiara was on the ground from laughing to hard and so was Ariana. Skip smacked Luke and said,

"We all know you like her just do it."

Luke looked at me and then climbed on the table. He yelled in the loudest voice he could,

"KRISTA, I HAVE LOVED YOU FOREVER AND I WANT YOU TO BE MY GIRLFRIEND. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AND BE YOUR PROTECTOR. I WILL HELP YOU WHEN YOU'RE SICK AND HOLD YOU WHEN YOU'RE UPSET, BUT I WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU!"

I blushed at Luke and nodded my head a million times.

"Luke Brooks, I will be your girlfriend."
