3rd POV

Y/N had gotten dressed and made her way to Pharaoh's office. When she had received an answer after knocking on the oak doors her eyes found the Pharaoh's knocking deep 8n what seemed to be a strategy for some war. She wandered around office trying to occupy herself until Pharaoh noticed her.

Y/N found herself peering over Pharaoh's shoulder. Looking at the map she found him tracing the number of guards that were to protect the kingdom and the border. He had miscalculated the amount of food and gold he was to send to both troops.

"It's not equal." She said her voice startling the man as he whipped his head around to look at her. He huffed frustratingly," Well how would you do it then?" He asked mockingly thinking a mere thief wouldn't be able to read egyptian hand writing.

"There's only 20 soldiers protecting the borders whilst there are 40 residing close to the palace inside and outside of the city, yet you're giving the ones on the border less food and gold when you have 1,800 coins to give them they'd each get 30 coins if you did it equally." She pointed out as she gestured to each troop.

The Pharoah looked back over the paper before making the adjustments she had given only to find out she was right." Do you know how to write?" He asked looking over his shoulder at her.
Y/N nodded eagerly happily to have something to do. The duo had spent the rest of the morning together making plans for the future of the kingdom.

《Afternoon》

Y/N stood at the edge of the Nile river her robe moving slightly due to the wind. Pharaoh had told  her that his daughter was there to get out of the palace for a while. Y/N ears caught on to a loud noise from a distance. Turning her head she caught the heads of woman surrounding what seemed to be the princess. They were all laughing. Y/N's staring seemed to disturb them because they began to turn in her direction before smiling amd giving her a small waves.

Y/N gave them a small smile and a nod before slowly making her way over to them. A woman who she assumed was the princess walked into the Nile whilst dragging some of the girls with her.
Y/N chuckled quietly at the princesses enthusiasm as she drew closer to them.

As she stopped in front of the shaded chair the princess was brought on, her eye caught something Drifting towards the women in the water. Thinking nothing of it she returned her attention back to the girls.

Most people would have thought the sight of girls splashing each other with warm liquid dripping down the curves of their bodies would be a alluring thing to see but Y/N only thought it was amusing to see them be dunked under water or dragged through waves.

As she laughed, Y/N failed to notice the women leaving the water in a hurried manner whilst practically begging for the princess to get out as well, who only taunted them. Y/N looked at the princess only to find what had caused a commotion amongst the women.

Y/N leapt forward into the river pulling the princesses small frame into hers, taking out the dagger from her satchel she turned her head slightly before bringing her arm down and stabbing the head of the alligator that had decided to sneak up on the princess.

"Are you oka-" the words stopped in Y/N throat as she took a good look at the woman who was still clutching at her arms.

The princess looked at Y/N with slight fear before hurriedly pushing herself out of her saviors arms." I'm fine..... Thank you." The princess said curtly. Her voice was like a melody amd it soothed Y/N's prior panic but her tone sounded a little..... snappy?

Now Y/N didn't like disrespectful people because those type of people had made large wedges between her and her family and well she didn't want that to happen already especially when she had just met this person... who just so happened to the princess.

She wasn't asking the princess to bow down and kiss her feet or anything so she was confused on why she was seemingly being rude. Setting her arms down that were once wrapped around the princess, she gave a small 'you're welcome' before dashing off back to palace to get rid of her frustration and shrug off what had just happened by training some of the guards.

The princess watched her with longing eyes only noticeable to her friends as she huffed and crossed her arms contemplating on whether or not should she had done what she did.
