The ceremony is about to begin and as the trumpets begin to play the guard announces his arrival. The arrival of the soon to be king of Clariness.

The maiden with red hair glances around for any trouble and makes sure her king is safe before shifting her focusing on the coronation again .

Sherayuki's Pov
Everything seems fine for now. But I can't let my guard down. I'll just keep my eyes and ears open while i watch the ceremony.
Prince Izana looks so dashing. His ponytail looks ever so cute. I let out a slight giggles while I watch his younger brother prince Zen bring the crown down on his head. Crowning him. He then gets up and we all bow to our new king. He's without a queen by his side. He doesn't show any weakness. The strength and power makes all others fear and admire him. That's the kind of man I like.
Handsome, smart, private and strong. I feel proud to be one of his knights in charge of his welfare. Though a low ranking one. At first my red hair was the only thing that made them notice me. After that comes that fact that I'm the only other female knight in this country. The first one is miss Kiki The 2nd prince Prince Zen attendant. I only spoke to her once before but I hope to become friends with her some day.
"The selection of his highness personal knight will begin immediately. "
"Ah I should get ready . Enough daydreaming Sherayuki."
The reason I'm so nervous is simple. Earlier today while I was rushing through the hallways of the inner castle. Which I shouldn't have done. But I was in a rush okay. So many things needed to be done and the knights were helping out. I was one of them. Anyway while I was rushing through the hallways I bumped into someone. That person had a mischievous grin on his face while telling me he'd punish me during the selection today. I hate this.
"I'm choosing this person because despite their odds they've never given up and i hope they'll continue to be an inspiration to all others out in this kingdom. Miss. Sherayuki Whould you be so kind?" He says with that same mischievous grin from this morning. Yep it is him. No one other then this sly prince or rather - already king.
Wait what no no no I don't want to. I internally scream as I walk up from the crowd. Everyone is looking at me . Ah i hate these stares. I hate you Izana. Shifting the spotlight on me like this. You jerk. While i curse him in my head I at same time try to not miss even a single word in my knightly oath.
After that was done he says "I'll be in your care from now on."
"Yes your highness You can count on me."
I say standing up proudly trying not to fall caus its been a long time since I wore a dress.
As a personal knight I'm required to stay by the Prin- I mean kings side at all times. So during the party I stick to his side and furfil my duties like I'm supposed to.

Izana's Pov
She's being very obedient Although i saw her pouting and sulking not to mention the schock on her face when I called out her name.
But nevertheless she takes her job seriously and without complains. While I talk to a certain nobleman she makes sure not to let others disturb us.
Even though she looks more like a princess in that dress she's still doesn't forget her job.
So then together with my younger brother prince Zen I go and great the other nobles asking their thoughts on various aspects. While Sherayuki and Zens attendants keep us from being surrounded by a crowd.

She's done a great job for her first time. I should give her a reward after this. A very sweet one too. I smirk as a think of a way to tease her. That will be fun. I hope this party ends soon.
