Part 13: Past

"Explain now." Jimin demanded as he watched Jungkook feeding the newborn in his arms.

"Okay, the reason we induced labor was to save both of your life's. Your life force has already been drained to the brink of death and even with our power, we wouldn't have been able to save you. We needed to induce labor and bring the princess to the world to get her to stop draining the last bit of life you guys have left." The ring on Jimin's finger replied, while Jungkook still felt a little skeptical of the spirits within the rings.

"Okay, answer me this. Why haven't me and Jimin gone insane like the last people that put these rings on? Huh? Why are me and Jimin not going around, destroying everything we love and care about?" Jungkook asked as tears streamed down his face, remembering the event's that have led up to this point.

"Because you guy's are the true guardians of the ring's. Only the two of you can control the power we hold. The last ones that put us on could not control the power, which is why they went insane and destroyed everything in their path." The ring on Jungkook's finger replied, making the two men go silent.

Never would they have imagined, that they would live to see their kid, not to mention the day they hear that they are the only ones that can control the power of the rings on their fingers. The information was a shock to them and they didn't know how to feel about it. there was no doubt that the spirits within the ring's were powerful since they felt the power running through their bodies. It was the feeling of comfort that they got from it that made them feel weird and skeptical about it.

"Why does my body feel strangely comfortable with the power that's running through me?" Jimin asked feeling just as skeptical as Jungkook.

"That's because the princess has drained and taken both of your power's away from the two of you. The powers you were born with were basically like a wall that kept our power's at bay and under control. Now that your powers have been taken to create your daughter, the power we hold filled in the void were yours belong, becoming your power in a way." The ring on Jimin's finger replied, making the two feel even more puzzled.

"So let me get this straight. Me and Jimin's powers, the ones we were born with, are now gone and the power's that are within the ring's are the ones that took up that place and are now our powers, correct?" Jungkook asked, not sure how to feel about it.

"Yes. The power within the ring's are now your powers to use. It probably feels strangely comfortable, because it filled the place were your power used to lye and made it, it's own." The ring on Jungkook's finger clarified. Making Jungkook and Jimin dumbfounded.

"What. The. Actual. Fuck." Jungkook said in disbelief. It was a lot to take in at once.

"So what do we do now? Everyone probably thinks were dead." Jimin now looked down at the rings waiting for his answer.

"No. Everyone knows that you two are still alive but they don't know how to look for you because no one knows what the two of you look like. This is good though because it's time for the two of you to go into hiding and help the other kingdoms." The ring on Jimin's hand glowed after giving an answer to Jimin.

"Yeah?! And how the hell do you expect us to do that?!" Jungkook yelled, making Jimin quickly run to him and hugged him to calm him down.

"There's an opening for a camander position at the kingdom of water and they're doing it in a weeks time. Jimin would be perfect for it and could easly keep them from finding the two of you. They also give vactions often to their soilders so Jimin wouldn't be gone for long periods of time like the other kingdoms are." The ring on Jungkook's hand said noticing Jungkook's distaste for the sugestion of Jimin having to leave so quickly.

"Is that really what we have to do?" Jimin asked as he looked down at the newborn.

"Yes. In order to win this war, you two have to play your cards right or you both might actually die." The ring on Jimin replied, making Jungkook laugh in disbelief.

"We should already be dead yet here we are." Jungkook replied sarcastically, ready to be done.

"I know, but next time the two of you won't be so lucky."

"Go figure." Jimin replied, as he sat beside Jungkook not wanting to know what path laid ahead the two of them.
