Chapter 21

When Tomo finished his story, Ei hummed and rethought the trip to Liyue "It makes sense why you'd led me there in the first place" Ei said and asks "So, is this dream we are in is a form of your soul?" Tomo scratched the back of his head "Yep! It was kinda hard to create this realm" Tomo said, as he put his hakama back on "Your efforts on making this realm was not a waste. In fact, I love it here" Ei said making Tomo blush a little and smiled "Thank you! Anyhow, let's go and check the flowers that I've planted" Tomo exclaimed and held Ei's hand making her feel butterflies again.

Tomo then guided Ei into a wisteria flower tunnel. Ei's eyes were filled in amazement at the beautiful tunnel they were walking in

"I see that you like it here" Tomo said while still holding Ei's hand "Everything about this place is beautiful. Like a perfect place to stay for eternity" Ei said and Tomo giggled "You can't stay here forever, Ei" Ei looked at the man right next to her and asked "What will happen if I stay a little longer?" Tomo then avoided her gaze and pointed "look, Ei! We're almost there. I can finally show you the flowers I've been talking about" Tomo said and let go of her hand, as he ran to the end of the tunnel.

Ei felt saddened at the fact; that he sometimes dodges some of her questions. "Come on, Ei!" Tomo waved up a hand. Ei smiled at the cheery male, that whenever he laughs or smile it always brightens her day up. Just like what she said; everything about that place was perfect and that she wants stay for an eternity with him.

When they got to the end of the tunnel, Ei saw the beautiful blooming flowers infront of her. Ei also noticed that this was the place where the gazebo was located.

"Ei, do you want to have some afternoon tea before you go?" Tomo asked and Ei nodded. As she followed him inside the gazebo and rested "You said that; you've just planted these hours ago, right?" Ei asked and Tomo nodded while preparing tea for the both of them "It's incredible that the flowers' growth is fast. It's truly interesting" Ei said making Tomo chuckle "You can get anything you want in a dream, y'know" Tomo said and gave her her cup of tea "If it's that so, I don't want to wake up anymore" Ei said "You still need to wake up, Ei. If you stay any longer here, you might not get back to the real world" Tomo said to Ei.

Ei sipped her tea and set it down "There's no reason for me to go back there... well, except for the mission. Reality is cruel and is filled with misery. This place is what I have imagined to live in a life of eternal happiness" Ei said and Tomo smiled softly "biscuits? Do you want some?" Tomo asked and slide the plate of biscuits towards Ei.

Ei takes a bite of the biscuit and Tomo asked "How's the mission doing?" Tomo sipped his cup of tea "There's still 94 people. I'm going to continue working on it, when I wake up" Ei said "You should not rush yourself, Ei" Tomo said with a soft smile, that makes Ei calm herself down every time "Is it because you want to spend time with me on your remaining time?" Ei asks and Tomo giggled "You can call it like that. Anyways, some of your victims are in Yashiori Island" Tomo said and Ei sets down her tea cup "How many?" Ei asked "about... 10... I think" Tomo said, pulling out 10 fingers "but they're all dead. So you just have to offer their visions back to their grave" Tomo added "Where are they located?" Ei asked "ugh... I don't have a map with me..." Tomo mumbled and Ei spoke "Don't worry, I can memorize it" Tomo smiled "If you say so. 2 near Mousuji Gorge, 2 in Higi Village, 2 near Serpent's Head, 1 in Fort Mumei, 1 in Fort Fujitou, and the other 2 are somewhere in the edge of Serpent's Head and Jakotsu Mine" Tomo said and Ei nodded.

The rain started pouring, as Ei blinked and woke up. Ei then saw Daichi sleeping next to her "Daichi!" The feline woke up and Ei hugged Daichi "Where did you go?! I was worried sick!" Ei said and drowned him with smooches all over his face. Suddenly, Ei remembered the locations Tomo said. Ei quickly gone to her office with Daichi in her arms.

Ei sat Daichi down on the table, as she opened every drawer for her map "Where's my map? Where are you when I need you?" Ei mumbled 'I need it now before it completely wipes out of my memories' Ei then rummaged inside the drawer, as she finally pulls out the map of Inazuma.

"Finally!" Ei exclaimed and grabbed a quill, as she started marking the map of Yashiori Island.

(Yeah the lightning sword hilt puzzle)

Ei sighed and decides to open the window of her office. Outside the window can be seen Seirai Island from afar "hmm... I should investigate Seirai Island. There might be Citizens stuck there, since I heard some locals are missing" Ei puts a hand under her chin and glanced towards Daichi; who was bathing himself.

Ei approached Daichi and sat on her chair 'Seirai Island is dangerous... maybe I should leave Daichi with Miko... but what if something happens to me? I also don't want Daichi to be alone' Ei was overthinking about it, when Daichi caressed her arm with his head and Ei embraced him in a hug.

"I'm taking you on my adventure, Daichi!... but where should I put you?" Ei wondered and stared down at her chest "That's a bit weird, but his little anyway, I'm sure he can fit inside..." Ei then puts Daichi inside her kimono with his head poking out of her chest 'ahh~ is this what it looks like on her katana's POV?' Tomo flushed red, as his dream to be the sword has finally come true.

Ei blushed, remembering that Tomo is controlling the cat. She then pull out Daichi out of her kimono "I should just grab a basket or a bag" Ei spoke and set Daichi down.

Minutes later, Ei came back with a belly bag tied around her torso. She then placed Daichi inside the belly bag "Let's go on a adventure before dawn" Ei spoke and gazed out side the nightsky.
