Gibbs House

      Everyone is over at Gibbs house because they do a family bonding night. Abby came and got me from my house. Once we walked through the door, and Gibbs hands me a beer and says, "Here you go." I said, "I'm sorry for your loss." Gibbs said, "Who told you about that?" I said, "I kind of figured it out on my own because you barely talk and you give off a stare." Tony and McGee is giving me the no signal. Tony and McGee came and grabbed my arms and took me to the kitchen. Tony said, "We never speak of that ever." McGee said, "Tony give her a break. She didn't know that it was a touchy subject."
     I said, "I know how it feels to have a loved one die. My 7 year old little brother was shot and killed when he was walking to my house. He was walking down the street when it happened. Do you think that I don't live with that guilt everyday for the past 4 years? I should have went to him, but he insisted on walking a few houses down. He was shot by a gang drive by. That gun shot was meant for me because they were after me since I put their leader in prison. My father actually served in the military with Gibbs and they were best buddies, but after Shannon and Kelly died they lost contact. I'm surprised you guys weren't call because I'm in a military family. The only person who knows is Abby because she was at my house when I heard the shots."
     Tony and McGee tried to hug me, but I went out the back door before they even touched me. Gibbs over heard what I said. I am sitting on Gibbs back steps. Gibbs came out and handed me another beer. Gibbs said, "I never knew that I knew that I served with your dad." I said, "You were actually best buds. You were there at my brother's birth, but I was stuck at school that is how you don't remember me. I have my dad's photo of you two in my bedroom because my dad past away due to a car wreck 2 years before my brother died. I guess we are even on losing how many people we love die."
     Gibbs put his arm around me and I started crying because it is hard around this time of year since it is both anniversaries of my dad's and brother's death. Gibbs said, "Why didn't you call me when your father passed?" I said, "He didn't want anyone but me, my mom and family to know that he died." Gibbs took his arm away from me so he can wipe the tears from my face. I drank a little of the beer and Gibbs grabbed it to take a sip.
     I said, "My mom moved in with me after my brother died and she has been depressed since. I think after she sees you she might feel better. I actually live down the block because this is the neighborhood where I grow up." Gibbs said, "How about you and your mom move in with me?" I said, "You can't be serious." Gibbs said, "Yes I'm serious because you are part of my family."
     I said, "I was Kelly's best friend before she died and the photo of her and I is on my bed side table because I want to see her everytime I wake up and everytime I go to bed." Gibbs said, "I actually have that photo on my desk at work of you two." Gibbs put his arm back around me. Robert texted me, "We are breaking up." I checked my watch and said, "My ex just dumped me." I turned to face Gibbs and kissed him. Gibbs didn't stop me and he put his hands around me. Everyone saw and went back into the living room.
     Gibbs and I headed back in and he has the beer in his hand. Everyone sees the smile on both of our faces. Everyone gathered around me, but Ducky and Vance because they went to talk to Gibbs. Abby said, "What happened with Robert?" I said, "He dumped me, but Gibbs cheered me up." Tony said, "We know because we saw you kiss him." I said, "Seriously guys you were spying on us." Ellie said, "How was the kiss though?"
      I said, "It was better than Robert's. Gibbs invited my mom and I to live with him too." Ziva, Ellie, and Abby started jumping up and down. Tony and McGee hugged me. Gibbs is just staring at me with googlie eyes, but Gibbs ex wife number 2 Rebecca Chase came over because she had a feeling that Gibbs kissed someone. I ran up the stairs and hid in a bedroom. Gibbs answered the door and said, "What in the hell are you doing here Rebecca?"
      Rebecca said, "Who's the new tramp Gibbs?" Gibbs said, "No one Rebecca. Now leave." Rebecca said, "I smell perfume on you." Rebecca barges in and my perfume scent lead her upstairs, but I have the door shut and the window open. Rebecca went back downstairs, but I hid in the closet to make sure that she did not find me. Rebecca said, "You are lucky today Leroy."
      Gibbs ran upstairs to find me and he knew where I would hide. Gibbs walked into Kelly's room to see the window open to throw Rebecca off my scent and he closed the window. Gibbs opened the closet door and saw me sitting down with my head between my knees. Gibbs sat in front of the closet and grabbed my hand to say, "Hey, I will always protect you and your mom." I said, "How will you protect me from your crazy second ex wife? She knows what perfume I wear."
     Gibbs said, "You don't need it to impress me." I came out and sat in his lap and kissed his cheek. I said, "How did I get so lucky with you, Leroy Jethro Gibbs? Is it because we have emotional bondage?" Gibbs just kissed me again. Everyone saw it again and came in. Gibbs said to the rest of the team, "Out! Go home. Harley is staying here tonight." I called my mom and no answer. I called her again and no answer. I said, "Leroy, my mom's not answering. Can we go down to my house to see if she is okay?"
      I got up off of him and Gibbs got up, but he grabbed my hand. It's 6 o'clock in the evening. We walked downstairs with our hands being in each other's and walked outside his house. We started walking towards my house I saw blood spatter on the window. We started running and got to my house to the door busted in. I was the first one in to see her dead body and I screamed. Gibbs came in and turned me and hugged me.
     Gibbs still has me in a hug, but he grabbed his phone to call the team to go to the Navy yard to get the NCIS vans. I went to my bedroom to start packing my stuff. Gibbs followed me and I said, "I'm going to just sell this place with everything in it, but my clothes, food, dish ware, and tvs."
      Gibbs helped me pack my clothes in suitcases, my tennis shoes in one suitcase. I grabbed my bookbag to put all my photos in. I grabbed the one off of the tv stand of Gibbs and my dad. Gibbs grabbed the one off my night stand of me and Kelly and just staring at it. I came up behind Gibbs and hugged him and I laid my head on his back. The team got here and I heard Abby running towards my bedroom. I turned around and saw that Abby, Ellie, and Ziva standing in the doorway.
     They came to me and hugged me. They said, "I'm sorry for your loss." I said, "I don't know how to tell my older brother Jordan any of this because he is in Afghanistan right now since he is in the military like our dad was." Gibbs said, "I will have him flown back for your mom's funeral." I ran to Gibbs and hugged him. Gibbs didn't let me go because he wants to make sure that I will stay alive so my brother Jordan will have is younger sister because we both lost so much.
       Tony and McGee got sketches and photographs. They found the bullet stuck into the couch. Tony dug it out and put it into an evidence bag. Jimmy and Ducky got my mom into the van already. Gibbs said, "You don't have to come to work for a while." I said, "Yes I do, so I can find the son of a bitch who's targeting me and who killed my mother." Abby, Ellie and Ziva started packing up my mom's belongings into boxes. I went back out to the living room to grab the photos off the wall.
      The first one I grabbed is when my dad and I was at my graduation of High School. The one next to it I grabbed was my Brother Jordan surprising me on my High School graduation. The one on the tv stand is one of the whole family I grabbed it. Gibbs grabbed the one of me and my dad at my college graduation. Then Gibbs grabbed the one of him, me, Shannon and Kelly off the wall. Gibbs said, "You still have the photo from when we went on the camping trip we went on."
      I said, "Why wouldn't I? It captured a beautiful day for me and Kelly, and for you and Shannon." The next one Gibbs grabbed was my brother surprising me at my college graduation. My brother Jordan is always gone because he has to keep his mind busy. I have PTSD now from 3 of my loved ones dying, but I had PTSD from when I was shot at when I was younger with my dad because he and one gang member got into it.
      We got all the photos into my huge bookbag. Then we moved onto the fridge. I grabbed the huge ice chest from the closet. I said, "Leroy, we will have lots of meat with all this steaks, sausage, pork, and hamburger meat I bought a day ago." Gibbs got down on one knee with a ring in his hand and said, "I don't care because I just want to spend the rest of my meals with you. Harley Jo Miller, will you make me the happiest man on the plant and marry me." Tony, McGee, Ziva, Ellie, Ducky, Jimmy and Abby saw what Gibbs done, but Ellie is recording it.
      I said, "A million times yes." Gibbs put the ring on my finger and got up and picked me up. I kissed him and he put me down. Ellie got it all on video for my brother because she knew that he was going to ask since Gibbs told her. I went to go show everyone the ring. They all hugged me. I am getting a facetime from my brother Jordan. I answered and Jordan said, "Go look outside your front door." I hung up and went outside and I saw Jordan. I ran to him and started crying because I had bad news to tell him.
     I said, "Jordan, someone died in our small group of family and it someone who loved us so much." Jordan said, "Spit it out already." I said, "Mom was killed in my house by a gang who is after me for the last several years!" Jordan hugged me and said, "I'm so sorry I wasn't here to comfort you when you first discovered the body." We got out of our hug and Jordan saw an engagement ring on my ring finger.
      Jordan said, "Who's the lucky guy?" I said, "You actually know him. He is one of dad's old military buddies." Jordan said, "Who?" Leroy Jethro Gibbs came out and Jordan saw. Jordan pointed at Gibbs and said, "He is the one marrying you." I said, "Yes. Gibbs and I have bonded over losing so many loved ones in the past few days and yes he did propose. What's your problem with it?"
     Jordan said, "He has a wife and kid." I said, "They actually are dead because they were killed by a Mexican Cartel leader years ago. I was the first one to know because Kelly didn't pick up her phone that day because we called each other everyday to make sure we got home safe from school, but she didn't answer. That's how I knew that something horrible happened to Gibbs wife and daughter."
      Gibbs said, "Jordan, I know I haven't been there for you and your family, but I do really love your sister deeply." Jordan pushed Gibbs and Gibbs punched Jordan in the face. I ran off to burn off the hate, the anger, the guilt, and most of all that my brother and my fiance can't get along with each other.
