This wont exactly follow the story of the movie/musical because im not good at writing fight scenes and stuff or murder so uh kinda a pure AU? Except JD still needs therapy i guess- this is my first story so it might be bad

Elizabeth POV: September 1st 2021. The day I start my senior year of high school! yay. God am I not looking forward to this. My mind has already come up with hundreds of scenarios for what could happen and I've been awake for 2 minutes. I should wake up JD.
I climb out of bed and walk to the room next to mine. When I open the door I see my brother asleep with his head resting on paper. He fell asleep studying again. I walk over to him and in an attempt to wake him up I gently shake him. "it's too early for it to be time for school Eliza..." he mumbles. "It's 7:30am get ready or we'll be late JD" I say, a bit more firmly than I intended. He immediately sat upright in his chair. "WHAT?! Why didnt you wake me sooner?!" He practically yells. Here we go again. "I just woke up aswell dont blame me!" I say to try and reason. "Still get out so i can get changed." He responds.
I turn back into my room and get changed into some leggings and a t-shirt. I check my phone for the weather. Ugh its gonna be cold again today. After finding out that its gonna be freezing today, I slip a hoodie on over my shirt for extra warmth.
