Be My Mistake ( Enhypen Jake ff)

Shenei's POV

Almost 2 weeks past since Jake asked me to have lunch with him and now I haven't seen him for a while. I mean, it's not like I want to see him or something. Naninibago lang ako, sanay kasi ako na ayain niya even though I always turn him down.

"Shen, are sure you're okay here? You don't want to join us at the cafeteria?" Sunoo asked, I smiled and shook my head as a response to him. "Okay, wala ka bang ipapabili sa'kin?" He added. "Hmm, strawberry milk? If meron, pag naman wala, don't bother buy me anything. Thanks." I said and go back to what I'm doing.

"Okay, hindi naman kami magtatagal." And walked away with our other friends. We become busy rin this week since our exams is near na. Wala pa akong naaral, I couldn't focus, 'di ko magets yung physics and chemistry. Ba't ba ako pinanganak na bobo?

I'll try to study na lang habang  hinihinatay ko sina sunoo. I opened my notebook and book to start studying. 

"Argh!" I let out of frustration, it's  been 30 minutes pero wala pa rin akong maintindihan, nakikinig naman ako sa klase, how come I couldn't understand this lesson?! Ginulo ko pa lalo ang buhok dahil mas 'di ko maintindihan yung sumunod na page sa book.

"Hey, are you okay?"  I looked at the one who spoke, and to my surprise, it was Jungwon. Y'all it is my crush?! Did he see me na nagwawala? Omg, nakakahiya. Lupa kainin mo na me huhu.

"Uhm, hi?" I said and waved my hand shyly. He smiled slightly and walks toward me, I  can't help but feel nervous, this is literally the first time that I will talk to him nang malapitan. We're not really  close, nasa iisang circle of friends kami, kung mag uusap 'man kami nandoon si Sunoo or kahit na sino sa circle of friends namin.

"What's that?" He asked as soon as he got near to me. "Uhm, I'm reviewing for exams, and I don't understand this  lesson." And showed him my notes and my book. Kinuha niya yung notebook and my book.

"Oh, this? I think nadiscussed na ito sa amin ng Prof namin, turuan kita? If that's okay with you? Magkaibigan naman tayo, right?" saad niya. Right, magkaibigan. Wala na bang pagasang lumevel up pa 'yun?

Ano  ba  'yan, naghangad ka pa, buti nga tuturuan ka niya eh. Just be thankful, Shen. "Uh, okay lang ba? Wala ka bang class? Baka malate ka?" sagot ko  habang hinahawak ko ang batok ko.

He smiled slightly and ruffled my hair. "Cute. Nah,  I  don't have class right now. Turuan na kita para 'di ka na magwala riyan, baka isipin ng iba nababaliw ka na." He said while laughing. Sumimangot sa sinabi niya, mukha ba akong baliw? Baliw sa kaniya, pwede pa. Hehe.

Habang nagsasalita siya or should I say tinuturan niya ako, I can't help but stare at him, he is just so cute, I wanna pinch his cheeks, namumula pa ito. "Shen, are you listening to me?" bigla niyang tanong, kaya naman napaasyo ako nang upo.

He chuckled. Hala, 'wag kang ganan lods huhu. Ang cute tumawa, wait need kong huminga. "Hindi ka ata nakikinig eh, sayang naman laway ko rito." saad niya habang natatawa pa. Do I look like a clown? Kanina pa siya natatawa, wala naman nakakatawa. 

"Huh? I'm listening kaya." sabat ko. Umiling-iling siya. "Wow! You don't have class, Jungwon?" It was Sunoo, they are here already. Napakaingay talaga ng lalaking ito. "Oh, strawberry milk mo." Inabot na sa akin ni Sunoo yung pinabili ko sa kanya.

"Wala, nakita ko kasi si Shen dito nagwawala, she said hindi niya ma-gets 'yung lesson, so I helped her kaso 'di ata nakikinig ito." He respond to Sunoo. I rolled my eyes and just opened my strawberry milk. 

"Paano makikinig  'yan eh-" Sunoo didn't finish his sentence when I eyed him, alam ko dila nitong lalaki na ito, lalabas diyan na crush ko si Jungwon. 

"Anyway, I need to  go, malapit na magstart next class  ko. So, see you around guys. And Shen, if you need my help, just tell me. I'm willing to help you. Bye, guys." He said and waved his hand. 

Matapos niyang makaalis ay agad  hinigit ni Sunoo ang buhok ko na pabiro. "Hoy, babae ka. Kaya ka ba 'di sumama dahil diyan kay Jungwon?" Tanong niya at tinaasan pa  ako ng kilay. 

"What? No, ayoko talaga sumama kanina so I decided to study na nga lang for our exams, pero 'di ko ma-gets yung lesson. He caught me na frustrated. He helped me pero I couldn't focus, Sunoo. Ang cute niya kasi talaga." Saad ko habang nangiti-ngiti pa na animo'y kinikilig.

Well,  kinikilig naman talaga ako? Duh, crush ko 'yun eh. Sinong hindi kikiligin pag crush mo ang nagturo at tumulong sa'yo? Iba na ata tama ko kay Jungwon ah. Masama na ito.

"Nag usap na ba kayo  ni Jake?" A sudden question of Sunoo. Actually, nawala sa isip ko 'yun. My mind was too preoccupied a while ago, the reason why I suddenly didn't think about that. Two weeks have been passed since the last time I saw Jake. 

"Hindi pa, I  haven't seen him around din eh. Nakikita mo ba siya? If ever makita mo siya,  tell him to  talk to me." I said while scanning my notes. His forehead frowned. "Why don't you just message him?" sagot niya. I put down my notebook and faced him. "Nahihiya ako, okay? After what I've said two weeks ago. Do you think I still have the guts to message him?" I murmured to him. 

"Hindi mo ba talaga siya gusto? How come na you didn't even have a crush on him? When in fact he is one of the heartthrobs here in our school." I sighed at what he said. 

Yes,  gwapo siya pero hindi ko rin alam kung bakit? He's my ideal type, pero wala talaga akong nararamdaman for him more than a friend. I only see him as a friend and nothing more. Jungwon, on the other hand, I don't when did I start having a crush on him. It just happened, and for now, wala akong balak na umamin.

After our class, dumaan kami ni Sunoo sa room nina Heeseung, sabi nila sabay sabay raw kami umuwi eh. Pero duda ako roon, baka mag gala pa kami ne'to.

"Wassup mga pre!" bati ni Ni-ki sa amin ni Sunoo. I noticed that we're not complete, someone is missing, and that is Jake. I wanna ask them but nahihiya ako, alam ko na alam nila ang nangyayari sa'min ni jake.

"Saan si Jake?" Agarang tanong ni Sunoo. "Umuwi na agad, nagmamadali nga eh. Ewan ko roon, g naman kanina na sabi namin gagala until sinabi ko na ksama kayo ni Shen. Btw, okay na ba kayo ni Jake, Shen?" Saad ni Jay.

I shook my head and excused myself. Umalis muna ako sa room, magpapahangin muna ako. So, I decided to go at the field, hindi naman na mainit doon. Nang makarating ako sa field, I saw someone, and that someone is Jake.

This is it, this is the right time to talk to him. I go near him, he haven't noticed me. Tatawagin ko pa lang siya  nang may tumawag na iba sa kaniya, and that moment he saw me. Nagulat siya, but then hindi niya ako pinansin at nilagpasan niya ako. Hinabol ko  siya ng tingin and saw a girl? 

I think she was the one who called Jake before I could call him. They hugged each other and ginulo ni Jake yung buhok 'nung babae.  He used to do that to me when we were still talking. After that, nawala na sila sa paningin ko.
