The car stops at the house. We get out. I grab my suitcase and walk inside. "What made you change your mind?" Yelena asks. "Wanda did. I had too let her go." I say and Yelena hugs me. "You got to stop doing that." "Stop doing what?" "Hugging me. I really don't like it." I say. Yelena let's me go and shows me my room. I unpack my stuff and Melina walks in with school supplies. "You will need this tomorrow." She say. She walks to the door. "Dinner is ready if you want too." She says and I follow her to the table. We start too eat but I don't talk. They try too get me to talk but I don't. I feel ashamed not knowing what happens at a school. I finished as last. "What does a school teach?" "Almost everything you already learned." Alexie says. I nod. I bring my dishes to the kitchen and go to sleep.
I wake up the next day by Melina shaking me hardly. "You don't wake up easy." She says. "I know, sorry. I should have said something about it." I say. She gives me and outfit. "For your first day off school." She says. I change and Melina looks shocked at my body. "Did they do it?" "The red room did." I say and put my clothes on. I pack my school bag and Melina puts some food in it. Yelena gives me some breakfast and coffee. I only eat something. Alexie drops me off at school after placing an bracelet on my wrist. I walk inside the school and get a timetable. All the boys stare at me. One walks to me. "Hey hottie want to go on a date?" "No thank you." I say and walk away. I get to my first class and it already began. "Class meet your new student." The teacher says. The class looks at me. I sit down at an empty place and look at the board. It's math. I grab my maths book and make the work. A bell dings and everyone grabs there stuff and leaves. The teacher walks to me. "I heard you were completely new to school. If you hear a bell the less is over and you need to go to your next one." He says. I nod stand up and walk out. "Wait, what's your name?" "Y/n." I say and go to my next lesson. The girls are changing in different clothes and so do I. They walk inside a.. training room? I look confused. One of the girls grabs my hand and takes me to the bleaches. "Hi, I am MJ." She says. "I am Y/n." I say. "Do you work out much?" "No, not really." I say. The teacher walks in. "Today we do the shuttle run test." She says. The whole class makes disappointing noises. "With every beep you hear you have to go to the other side." MJ says. We stand on a line and a beep plus music start to go and everyone slowly moves to the other side. "Start slow, the beeps will go faster." She says. We keep running and less people continue. MJ stopped too. It's now just me and a boy. The boy who asked me on a date. We keep running and the boy gives up and I keep running. The beep is going fast. Everyone watches me. I go faster and faster. The coach stops the test. "Who are you young lady?" "I am Y/n." I say. My breathing is still normal. "Can you stay after class?" "I guess." I say and a bell goes off and everyone leaves. "I want to talk to you about doing sport for the school." She says. She leads me to a track field. A few people look at me and start to laugh. "Girls meet Y/n. If she wants she can be part of the running team." The teacher says. "I don't think she is that fast. Look at her, she is chubby." One of the girls says. "Liz, why don't you go run around the track with Y/n?" The teacher says. "How many rounds?" I ask. "Against all of us one by one." Betty says. "Okay. Do I need to wait or just running until you all had a go?" "Keep running." Liz says. She stands in a weird position and I stand up straight. The girls even laugh more. "Go." The teacher says and Liz runs away. I run after her and keep running until they all had a go. The girls are shocked. "Y/n that enough." Melina says. I stop running. Melina walks to me. "You can't show your powers." She says softly. "I didn't I was just running because they asked me to." I say. "Okay, go to your next lesson." She says and ruffles my hair. I walk away. "Y/n, wait." The teacher says and I stop and turn to her. "Do you want to be in the track team?" I look at Melina and she nods. I get a flashback.
Madame B nods at me every time I had someone in a headlock. I needed her permission to kill even if I don't want to. It's her or me.
I fall on my knees and my breathing speeds up. Melina runs to me. "Y/n, you aren't there. You don't have to do it." Melina says and holds my hands. The girls are laughing again. MJ runs out and sits down next to me. "What colour is the gras?" MJ asks me. "G-green." "The sky?" "Blue." "What's my name?" "MJ." My breathing slows down. "How did you know how to calm her down?" Melina asks. "My mother used to get panic attacks." MJ says. The teacher walks to us. "Sorry if I asked to much." the teacher said. "No, you didn't. I want to be on the track team." I say. I get up and MJ walks with me back to the lockers room and I change my clothes again. She brings me back to class.
