It has been nine years since Damian met Dekku, the two's bond slowly growing. Even through the transformations, the two's bond stayed through it. At first, Damian was a more "Vengeance over Justice" child, but Dekku - along with his Batty Family - changed the boy for the better. Though, there are times where the "old Damian" would shine through, only to be reminded of his past. He has grown into a strong hero with his own team; Teen Titans. They could be a handful sometimes, but that never stopped Damian from having a good time with them, even when Beast Boy had his prankster moments. Dekku was glad his Master was content, but always seemed to be reminded of something else, giving him his "happily saddened" features. Every time Damian tried to ask, Dekku always smiled before stating the timing was too early. No matter how hard Damian tried, he could never get a separate answer than that. Eventually, the young hero dropped it, but still comforted his first - and very close - friend. So far, the only people that know of Damian's "Secret" are him and Alfred. It was shortly after Damian started attending Gotham Academy; Seeing the Miraculous - and knowing Gotham - Damian didn't want to lose his ally, so he left the gift at home. When he returned, however, Alfred pulled the boy aside before explaining Dekku was safe and loved Katsudon. It took a lot out of Damian not to feel too enraged of the invasion, but Dekku seemed used to an explosive reaction, easily calming the boy down. Through this reaction, Damian found a way of balancing Robin, School, and the Miraculous Life, all while keeping it away from the rest of his Family. Sure - he slowly trusted them - but that didn't stop Damian from keeping a Secret of his own; Everyone else had one, why not him? Currently, Damian is lying in bed, shortly after his patrol ended.
The early January wind blew against the Moonlit manor, neither man nor animal disturbing the snowy breeze. The snow continued to sway, each flake more unique than the other. There was, however, a small disturbance in said Manor; Only to be heard in one, specific room. "... Master...? Master!" A voice squeaked out, alarming the 18-year-old Damian Wayne from his slumber. Quickly sitting up, Damian faced forward, observing his Kwami's nervous expression. Said Kwami was rubbing his arms, seemingly trying to calm themself. Rubbing his eyes, Damian hummed, feeling a sense of panic from the creature. 'Can't be good...' Damian numbly thought, petting the Kwami's fur. "What's wrong, Dekku?" Damian coolly asked, attempting to calm the Bat-like creature. Dekku took a deep breath, letting out a shakier sound of one. Holding Damian's finger, Dekku led the tiredly confused boy to the window, both looking out. The showering snow seemed quiet, something that usually calmed the little Kwami. Taking another deep breath, Dekku slowly released the finger, facing his Master. "I sense there are two Kwamis in Gotham, now; Neither of which includes me..." Dekku carefully stated, gently holding his chest. Damian stood there, looking between Dekku and the window. 'I almost forgot there were more Kwamis...' 'Are they okay?' Damian coolly thought, looking back at a nervous Dekku. Seeing the expression, Damian sighed, quickly grabbing his Miraculous. 'Sleep can wait.' Damian steadily thought, his gift quietly attached once he stood by the window. Looking to his companion, Damian nodded, recieving the same. "Alright, Dekku, Fangs Out!" Damian called, feeling the Light of Power shine through his eyes. Opening his Deep Green orbs, Damian looked down, making sure his suit had everything. He wore black armor, though there were green tints on the bands, gloves, boots, and face mask with bat wings in the middle. Bat wings in mind, he had the two on his back, appearing slightly smaller than his body. His tail was the same as Dekku's, though the boy's ears extended slightly. The whites of his eyes were dark, while the color of his Iris' grew brighter. Lastly, his hair turned curly, green tips emitting a Light of their own. Nodding, Damian looked forward again, quietly opening the window before jumping out. 'Let's see what we've got.' Damian coolly thought, flying through the air to the nearest Kwami.
Two Hours Later~
'Okay, so it may be harder than I first thought...' Damian bluntly thought, continuing to jump over rooftops. The cold wind bit at his face, thankfully making him more alert. 'Why is it so hard to find a Kwami?' Damian thought again, feeling a tingle of static in his choker. Damian internally chuckled, remembering Dekku's attitude. Stopping, Damian sighed, looking around. The rooftop had one door - presumably to the exit - while the walls around it appeared slightly run down. There was a chain fence around the roof, acting as a safe guard to any visitors. Even with the snow, Damian could tell everything was in their usual order. Yet, this very rooftop gave the teen a sense of eyes watching him, making him turn every which way. 'Where are they?' Damian quizzically thought, continuing to look around as the gentle snow continued to caress the usually busied land. Suddenly, something red caught his eye. It looked to be a foot by the corner of the door, just barely visible in the snowy Night. Damian rose a brow. 'Guess that's where.' Damian coolly thought, slowly walking towards it. 'It doesn't appear to be Harley, because the foot's too petite...' 'Joker wears black shoes...' 'It looks like it has black spots, though...' Stopping, Damian tilited his head, unsure of the person in question. Crossing his arms, however, made him appear undisturbed, giving him enough time to start his query with little - to no - distractions. "Who are you?" Damian coolly began, hearing a small squeak soon after. 'Sigh' The figure slowly walked into view, making Damian raise a wary brow. The girl had milky skin, her deep blue hair in long pigtails with longer red ribbons. She wore a bright red zip-up jumpsuit that had a swan-necked collar with black lining. Her abdomen and hip area had all black, just barely above her thighs. There were orbs on her hips, appearing as ladybugs. Red spots shown on the black backgrounds, while the others on her were black over red. Her palms and soles of her feet were all black, too. The girl's mask was red with five black dots around her Bluebell eyes, somehow brighter than the Bluebells he'd seen in New York. She stood with her hands to her sides, her rosy pink lips staying in a straight line, until she moved. "I am Ladybug; The Wielder of the Ladybug Miraculous. May I know your name, Monsieur?" Ladybug's voice of french honey softly spoke, her eyes glimmering with confusion and caution. Damian hummed, slowly nodding his head. 'So, she has a Kwami and is french...' 'Noted.' Damian coolly thought before raising his hand, keeping it towards the confused girl. "I am Dracul; The Wielder of the Bat Miraculous." Damian coolly spoke, earning her small hand to shake. Ladybug's hand felt gentle and warm, even through her skin-tight suit. Shortly after releasing, the petite girl looked around, seemingly looking for something. Damian rose a brow, observing the girl's sudden behavior. 'What is she looking for?' Damian quizzically thought, watching as the girl slowly faced him. Bluebell met Glowing Green, neither moving from their spot. Staring for a moment longer, the girl giggled, rubbing the back of her neck. "Sorry! I am trying to look for a Villain I followed here, but I haven't had much luck..." Ladybug shyly spoke, continuing with her look around. Damian nodded his head, watching the girl before him continue her stand-still search. 'That explains her whereabouts, but not the lack of backup.' Damian crossly thought, noting the lone wielder. 'Ahem' Ladybug turned, gaining the boy's attention. He crossed his arms, observing the petite girl's confused orbs. "... What does this Villain look like? Do you have a team helping you?" Damian calmly asked, watching the girl stand straighter. She sighed, rubbing her arms from the cold breeze rising. Damian stood still, unsure if he should say something else. He didn't have to wait long. "His name is Hawk Moth and he has the Batterfly Miraculous. He mostly wears silvers and purples, nothing else. As for my team; I had asked them to stay in Paris, just in case he had more tricks up his sleeves." Ladybug coolly stated, though she had begun to sound shaky. Damian nodded, holding his arms by his sides. 'Hawk Moth...' 'Wonder what his power is.' Damian calmly thought, stepping a little closer. Ladybug rose a brow before Damian stopped, gently scratching his ear. "Well, care to tell me what he does before you go...? Just so I'm aware of his fighting stle, of course." Damian cautiously spoke, unsure of what he should do. Ladybug simply nodded, quickly looking around. "Hawk Moth can 'akumatize' people, or turn them into Villains by using their negative emotions as their source of powers." Ladybug warily explained, seemingly feeling like mentioning the situation would make the outcome happen. Damian clenched his fist, feeling static in his choker. 'He's abusing his Kwami, huh?' 'I'll have to find him to ask...' Damian smoothly thought, feeling more static. Damian huffed before holding the girl's hand, causing her to raise a brow. "Well, I'll call you if I see anthing, Ladybug." Damian calmly stated, earning a reassurring smile from the girl in question. "Thank you, Dragul! I wish you and your Kwami luck!" Ladybug stated before the two parted ways, feeling the cold breeze smack their already cold features.
At home~
Damian quietly opened his bedroom window, carefully making his way into his room. The room was dark, the only light to be seen was the Moon shining through his window. Standing straight, Damian held his choker, gently rubbing circles onto the orb. "Dekku, Fangs In!" Damian coolly called, feeling the Light of Power diminish. Opening his eyes, Damian was surprised to see an ecstatic Kwami trying not to fly around, the small tail wagging every which way. Dekku's smile was very close to his ears, which were fairly high up. Damian rose a brow, silently hoping he didn't overfeed Dekku Katsudon, again. "... What's with that look...?" Damian cautiously asked, gaining an excited gasp from the batty Kwami. "Master, we just met Ladybug; The Wielder to the Goddess of Creation and she is the Great Guardian!" Dekku happily exclaimed, flying around in his rarely ecstatic motion. Damian remained silent, trying to figure out the situation. "Great Guardian...?" Damian quizzically mumbled, watching Dekku pause. Seeing his Master's confusion, Dekku giggled before sitting down. Once ushering to sit - and Damian fully sat on his bed - Dekku took a deep breath, slowly breathing out. "Well, anyone whom bares the Ladybug Miraculous - and is the Guardian of the Miracle Box and all Kwamis within - are known as the Great Guardian. There are many responsabilities for them, but I've never heard of a teenaged Great Guardian! Then again, I was in my Miraculous for three hundred and almost nineteen years, so..." Dekku soon began to mumble, causing the teenager to gently rub the Kwami's cheek. Feeling this, Dekku purred, his aura growing calmer. Damian hummed, taking in the information. 'So, she protects all Kwamis...' 'Then, how did the Butterfly Miraculous get in the wrong hands...?' Damian coolly thought, instantly feeling a rush of anger in his throat. Dekku giggled, already aware of his Master's protective side. Cuddling the finger, Dekku looked to Damian, whom began to calm down. "Master - seeing the girl's age range - I don't think she was the Great Guardian, until after he grabbed the Miraculous. I mean, that would explain the use of Akumas..." Dekku warily spoke, but still trying to calm the boy before him. Damian took a deep breath, sighing with the situation in mind. Looking to his door, Damian knew no one was up, but that was little on his mind. 'What if Hawk Moth gets to them?' 'Granted - they annoy me - but, they're still the closest thing to Family that I have...' Damian cautiously thought, a sense of dread almost rising. "Master!"
