Chpater 1; the new girl in town

No one's pov:

"Hey kat did you hear about the new girl ? She supposed to be like super good or something." Jen says walking towards kat,
"Yup.. she's been everybody's news all day. She must be important." Kat says with a sigh while tying her skates shoe laces.

"Well no fear my bestfriend is most likely better than her anyways so, don't think about her as competition-" Jen starts but then is cut off by kat
"Jen. How am I seriously supposed to think she's not my competition, she could knock me and Justin right off of our chance to nationals this year." Kat exclaims finally looking up to Jen with frustration and fury.

"Listen.. I know this will be different but, you won last year.. remember, Regionals.. you won not that .. girl? " Jen says being sympathetic towards kat.

2 minutes go by and the doors of the pinecrest skate arena open to by a light brunette girl she looks like she has blonde highlights and green olive eyes, she has a nice figure, not to curvy but curvy enough , and she has a nice thigh gap.

She rolls her suitcase over to the front desk on the other side of kat and Jen.
After she checks in Leah (Justin's old partner) greats her and shows her around.
"Ugh Leah got to her first. Guess we will have to try after practice ,"

Vanessa's pov:

"And this is the vending machine.. that's all, and I was wondering if you wanted to hangout with me and skating partner." Leah says with a mischievous smile

"Uh yea sure-"
"Great. See you after practice." She says smiling and walking away.
What the hell is wrong with these people, or that girl specifically. She's just got a mean girl vibe to her.
I brush off the thought about Leah and go to the skate arena,

I sit down waiting for my coach, and than a brown haired man with fluffy looking hair came up to me with a smaller blonde with brown roots and brown eyes wearing a aviator nation crop sweatshirt,

"Hello, you must be Vanessa? (Shes 21) I'm Mitch and this is Serena (she's 18 this is 2 years later) , my other student." The brown haired male he identified himself as Mitch says.
"Hey I'm Serena," she says giving me her hand to shake
"Hey I'm Vanessa, I'm really excited to work with you guys." I say shaking the blondes hand with a smile
"Yea you Vanessa will be doing a solo, the song your dancing to will be 505 by artic monkey."
"Yes sir" I say laughing as i pull serenas hand to the ice entrance.

I opens the little door for the ice rink and lead her out .
Mitch explains the choreography as I look over to me at a blonde headed boy with light brown eyes.

Justins Pov:

The 'new girl' was looking at me she was really pretty, I stopped thinking about skating with kat for a minute. And I snapped out of my thoughts and stopped looking at her and looked back towards dasha and kat,

Dasha was teaching us a "romantic" pair skating. Whatever.. If kat finds out I was looking at the new girl she'll flip.

Vanessa's pov:
The blonde boy turned his head away from me, and back towards the girl he was next to.
He was all I could think about during practice, he must be my lucky charm because Mitch said I nailed my practice today.

"Great job Vanessa. Alright now go stretch we will continue this tomorrow Regionals is  5 weeks away. Eat protein and get lots of rest." Mitch said giving me a pat on the back and walking away.

I walk toward the bleachers and sit down to take my skates off. As I'm untying my shoe laces and taking my skates off, I'm approached by the blonde from earlier and his ... partner??
"Hey. We didn't introduce ourselves yet, uhm your the new girl here right?" He starts and he scratches his nose.

"Yes. I am and you don't have to keep calling me new girl" I say with a giggle looking back down to my skates. "Yea well that's all everyone knows you as," the brunette girl next to him says with a snicker.

"I-"
"I'll be in the front Justin. Don't take forever. I also need a ride home... please." She says teasing him and than walking away,
Moments after she walks away he sits down
"Hey im sorry about her-" he try's to spit out
"Whatever forget it, I get it. My boyfriend is coming tomorrow anyways. I'll just ask my coach if we could do a pair skate together." I blurt out taking my other skate off and walking away from him without saying anything else.

Justin's pov:
She looked a little hurt after kat told her that, she could see that me and kat were dating. I felt bad and I usually don't for most of the girls I've slept with.

I scoff and get up to go meet kat and take her to Dashas place.

10 minutes later

"Kat. Be careful if you decide to hangout with Jen tonight, i love you." I say kissing her cheek
"Yea yeaaa live you too Justin goodnight!" Kat says stepping in Dashas place and closes the door.

Vanessa's pov:

The elevator stops on my floor and I walk to my door all the way at the hall. I grab my key card and slide it through the door, I walk in and the door closes behind me. I turn the lights on and place my suitcase next to the door for tomorrow,
I grab my phone from my sweatshirts pocket and scroll on my Instagram, when I suddenly get a text from my boyfriend.

Xander, he said "I'm gonna land tomorrow at 2 am, I'll come to your place . What's your room number."
"511" I text back with a 'I love you'
"Okay goodnight baby, can't wait to skate with you tomorrow."
I don't reply back. I can't stop thinking about Justin, or what that his name. I can't remember.

'Fuck! I forgot to go grocery shopping.' I think as I open my refrigerator door..
Suddenly I get a knock on my door..
