sorry its really short it was kinda rushed
I woke up to the sun shining through my open window. 'Your mother is waiting for you in the common room sir' my maid stated, I sighed making my way downstairs. 'We have found a perfect princess for you to marry', I really don't want to marry a girl I want to live my life freely I thought to myself. My farther looked at me disappointed in me, his only son, the heir to the throne. I nodded as I walked to the tower overlooking the courtyard. The knights train below me, I gazed at Johnathon as he trained wielding his sword effortlessly with the grace and perfection. His presence always left me mesmerised and longing for his attention. That evening I waited in the entrance for my soon to be wife, a girl walked up the path she was different no brightly coloured dresses, covered in makeup, petite walks or overly polite. She wore a white blouse with a deep red corset with the same coloured suit pants, she strutted with confidence and her black boots matched her loosely tied back hair as she glared at me walking into my palace. Her parents were same as mine, mean faces and covered in their riches. I sat in silence beside the girl as our parents discussed the futures for their kingdoms and how much this marriage will help their futures. 'My names Scarlett by the way,' she chuckled 'I mean you should at least know someone's name before you marry them right' she scoffed. She smiled at me, though I could tell she didn't want to be here. 'William, and I'm assuming you don't want to be here either.' She nodded before taking a swig of the wine in front of her. I stared into the distance but my gaze fell on Johnathon in the corner of the room leaning up against the wall. His brown eyes were filled with mystery, you could see his muscles pushing against his shirt as he took a sip of beer from his mug. You gazed longingly getting lost in his brown eyes before you could look away his eyes locked with mine, a mischievous smile crept across his face. I smiled back but before I could say anything his called away. 'You really like him' Scarlett grinned, I looked away blushing, she nervously bit her nails and saying, 'I think if I had a choice in who I got to marry I wouldn't even be marrying a man.' I tried to hold back my smile 'really?', she nodded whispering 'lets get out of here'. We snuck out of the back of the palace where she led me through the forest to and abandoned cottage, inside was colourful and people lounged on couches and beds. They weren't normal though girls with hair cut short and boys with makeup and dresses. In the corner I saw Johnathon, I looked down hiding the fact that I was blushing.
