Showing up to the party after the morning events, with Xiao nonetheless, definitely didn't help his friends confusion. As soon as they entered the room they were met with Bennett and Chongyun's strange looks, and Xingqiu hurrying them to hide and chastising them for being late.

Venti grabbed Xiao and pulled him behind a couch, then wasted no time, like the last loop, in predicting all the events before they happened. He was beyond determined to appear as believable and trustworthy as possible.

However, this time loop Venti tried his best to ensure that he didn't repeat his past mistakes. Therefore dragging Xiao early on into the party to go and destroy Xingqiu's food. Sure, Xiao was still extremely skeptical about the whole situation, but his excuse for helping was that 'he had nothing better to do.'

After they destroyed all the food and discarded the remains in the bin, Venti wasted no time in grabbing all the drinks from the cabinet and pouring them down the sink. He was beyond grateful that Kaeya's arrival caught everyone else's full attention.

"Have you planned ahead on how we are going to explain what happened to the food and drinks?" Xiao voiced once Venti was satisfied with their work.

"Why do we have to be the ones to explain it? As far as they know, we are just as clueless to what happened as everyone else, ehe." Venti shrugged.

Xiao gave him a strange look, then smiled a bit. "I wouldn't see you as the type."

Venti was just about to ask the other boy to elaborate, but before he could there was a crashing noise coming from outside the kitchen.

Venti and Xiao ran out to see Xingqiu muttering apologies as Chongyun helped him into a standing position.

"Nothing to worry about," Xingqiu coughed out, "just a bit of a stumble. Shall we get dinner ready?"

Everyone nodded slowly, still trying to recover from the dramatic event. Once Xingqiu entered the kitchen, Venti quickly made his way to Chongyun's side.

"What happened? Did he just fall?" Venti inquired quietly, watching as everyone began to engage in their own conversations.

"I would assume so? Are you implying that someone might have pushed him over?" Chongyun questioned suspiciously.

"Wh- uh, no." Venti laughed off awkwardly. "I'm just, uh, checking."

A loud scream was suddenly heard from the kitchen. Everyone's head raised in alarm and Chongyun pushed past Venti to run into the room.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE FOOD?!!!!"
