You're in your boy's best friend's room. You're sitting on his bed watching him play.
While he's playing video games, chatting with his online buddies on his mic.
The room is dark because of the dark sky outside.
You and he are going back and forth, joking around.
You watch him play the same level for almost 10 minutes straight. He loses every time.
You say " you know it's kinda sad how your always playing video games and never beat level 2", with a giggle.
He snaps back and says "no, what's sad is the fact you can't get someone to love you for more than a month and so your sitting helplessly in my room".
He and everyone in the call start laughing.
You sit there in shock and get nervous, you feel the wave of embarrassment and it's hitting you. Hard.
You wrap your arms around your stomach and try to hold back tears, as he looks back at you and back at his computer in a matter of seconds.
