NARRATOR'S POV :
With her managers and coach on the side watching over kala, she continues to practice at the Ice skating rink for her upcoming competition in Canada and also to not make her skills get rusty for the time being that she wasn't able to go and practice. She have been focusing on her mentor and performance director job that she's running behind when it comes to her sports especially figure skating skills.She's the only one using the ice skating rink because whenever its not winter season, you can only use this rink when you book the whole place or reserve it.
Although she was informed earlier that the three trainees will be coming here to skate instead of their original plan of going to lotte world Ice skating. Its fine by her though because she have been training for the past 2 hours and taking an hour off won't hurt her career at all. Also the fact that the boys safety is her main priority and going to lotte world for their privacy and personal time to only be possibly evaded by rude fans and sasaengs is not a choice that they have to choose for the sake of their safety. She still have a couple of minutes before Jungwon, Sunghoon and heeseung arrives so she continues to practice diligently for her time to not be wasted at all.
"Okay, perform your contest piece and then show me a freestyle with a song that I'll play . After that, we'll conclude your practice for today, kala" Her coach told her .
"Yes coach" she skates to the center and got into her position.
"Ready, kala?"
"Yes coach" then when the song started, it seems like a switch have been turned on inside her and you can clearly see the difference and how much passion she holds in her eyes. Its beautiful
She goes straight to the freestyle not even cutting her focus on her shoes and the ice.
In the middle of her skating, the boys have arrived at the rink and sat down on the side to watch their director / friend , kala perform on ice with elegance and grace. They took their phones out and captured the beautiful piece in front of them to share to the other ilanders once they got back tonight.
Once she finished, applause and cheers have errupted causing her flinch and stop in surprise to see that the three have arrived.
"Woohooooo!!!"
"Daebak directornim!!!"
"That's our directornim!!"
"That's my Best Friend of 10 years !!!"
"Hey boys--uh since how long have you been sitting there?" She skates towards the entrance and greet them with a hug.
"The middle of you performing the song "Believer", directornim" jungwon informed her making her nod.
"So--uhh what do you all think of the performance that you have seen?" She asked the three.
"Its amazing!!!" They all exclaimed in unison.
"This is actually my first time seeing THE park Kala in action on ice. I know that you're a great skater but I didnt know you're that amazing" Jungwon said enthusiastically.
"Aww thank you so much jungwon ssi "
"Oh the ice rink is all yours. You can go ahead and use it as you like to. Enjoy!" She smile at them and was about to leave and change when heeseung and jungwon held her back.
"Wait directornim" they both said.
"Is there anything that you need?" She asked them once she was facing the boys.
"Since you and sunghoon are here already, we have one request for the both of you and we are wondering if you could fulfill it?" Heeseung asked his best friend.
Kala looked at sunghoon and the two wait for their request.
"Can you perform together on ice?" They both asked.
"Uhhh I don't know--it depends on sunghoon ssi if he would like to although we haven't performed together in front of anyone yet" she looked at sunghoon who thinks about it and eventually have come to a decision.
"Sure! I do miss skating with you and might as well use this opportunity to do it. What do you think, kala directornim?" Sunghoon asked smiling and kala nodded happpily.
"What are we waiting for? Lechugooo!!" She went back inside the rink and good thing she haven't taken off her skates yet.
The two sat on the bench while sunghoon and kala talked about what they will do. They agreed on using euphoria as their song and going freestyle instead
"Everyone, we will be doing freestyle and its been a while since we practiced so please lower your expectations" Sunghoon said while kala nodded in agreement.
"Ready, hyung?" She asked .
"Ready!!"
"Okay! Music cue!!" Kala yelled.
Once the music started, kala and sunghoon skates elegantly accross the rinks doing tricks that compliments each other and with the 2 minutes of the song that they performed, they did triple axel in the middle and as their final trick before stopping their freestyle performance. Indeed! Everyone are left shocked, amazed and happy to see the Ice duo finally on ice together. It is a sweet moment for their fans and for the two also. Right after performing, she hugged sunghoon and they took photos together with the boys before kala bid goodbye to them and left. She hav other schedule so she unfortunately can't stay longer . However, it is a good day because they finally saw the ice prince and ice princess in action together.
