Tanjiro's perspective

the dark blue night sky hung above us, dozens of faint outlines of clouds drifted along it as they tried to conceal and contain the luminous rays of the silver moon. bright dots of stars adorned and were scattered all over the sky, dancing with each other.

i would say it was peaceful if it weren't fo—

"WHERE THE FUCK IS HENYA?!" Inosuke shouted in his raspy voice, stomping his feet in irritation, "HE WAS SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE TENY SEVEN MINUTES AGO!!"

well, him.

"first, language. second, his name is Genya, get please our names right. third, 'teny seven' isn't even a number, Inosuke, it's seventeen," i corrected in an exasperated sigh.

"SAME DIFFERENCE!" he exclaimed, proudly patting himself on the shoulder.

what else did i expect...

"Tanjiroooo," a whine came from behind me as a hand landed on my shoulder, "you don't think he died, right?! EEP IF EVEN GENYA DIED I'LL BE DEAD MEAT AAAHHHHH!!" Zenitsu panicked, tears flowing down his pale cheeks.

i raised out a hand and opened my mouth to speak but got interrupted.

"GONISU! FIGHT ME!!" Inosuke challenges, his anger at Genya's lateness apparently forgotten and gone.

Zenitsu flinched back in perturbation and ran away, tears increasing as they flowed at an abnormal rate.

yet here i was thinking hashira's were the most mature of the corps. i huffed at myself in my mind.
