Coming out of Coma.

Laura's POV
I woke in with pain in my body.I wasn’t able to feel anything.I had a large tube in my mouth.I was trying to move.I thought I'll pass out again.At that moment,  Massimo came in followed by doctors and nurses.They removed the tube from my mouth.They also inject something in the IV. I saw Massimo  looking at me crying .He was holding my right hand.The doctors told him to give space to them.Massimo shouted "My wife opened her eyes after 2 weeks.I will not leave her side." After giving some dose of medicine the doctors left me and Massimo alone.

Massimo's POV
Laura is finally awake. I can't believe my eyes.God heard my prayer.After the doctors left Laura and I was alone in the cabin.I sat beside her.I told her"Don't worry Laura.I'm here with you.I'll never leave you alone."Hearing that she started to cry.I wiped her tears with my hand.I kissed the crown of her head.I was glad to know that my wife is safe.But our son's life is in risk.Doctors forbid me to tell Laura about this.Since she has a weak heart maybe she'll pass out hearing that.

Laura's POV
Massimo wiped my tears.I felt the touch of his hand.Massimo told me to rest. I wasn’t able to rest untill I know about my baby.I cryingly asked Massimo "Massimo,where's our child?Where's Luca?I want to hold him." Massimo said nothing.He went black. I know what this means.I can't believe this my child is dead.I thought I am responsible for his death.I will never forgive myself.I was choking and crying at the same moment. Massimo held me in his arm and told me that"He's fighting for his life inside you.He's a warrior".I am so happy hearing that.My son is alive.He paused and also told me that"The day you were shot the doctors had to perform surgery because you got shot near your kidney. So a lot of blood got out of your body.Also your heart wasn’t responding. So, Luca's life is still in danger."I have to do anything for my warrior.I touch by abdomen with my hands.There was bandage over it.But now what I need to do is rest a lot.Because as a mother I have to help my fighter.So without saying anything I lay on the bad with still holding Massimo's hand.He was shocked by my action.I think he thought I will ask more.Right at that time, a gynecologist and a nurse came in.They told Massimo to leave if possible.Massimo became angry,so I quickly hold his hand tight and told him"I'll be ok, honey.Please let the doctors check me with privacy.Please?"I said as sweet as I could though there was still tears rolling down my cheeks.Massimo left.

The gynecologist was a woman.She asked me to make my legs apart.She wanted to check my vagina. I did what she told.She was looking at something.Her reaction wasn’t good. The nurse was also looking with her.Then the gynecologist told me "Miss Laura. I just checked you.But I can't say anything right now. You'll need a lot of test.Take as much as rest possible. "I got a little bit scared my what she told.She gave me a sedative.They were looking at my previous test reports.I soon fall asleep.

Massimo's POV
When I came inside Laura is asleep.Seeing me Dr.Iduna came to me and said" Don Massimo, I don’t know how to say this.But your wife's uterus is injured badly.The child isn’t safe.The condition in critical. Even  if it is born  maybe it'll born dead.It will have 30% chance of survival.Please prepare yourself for the future.Only a miracle will be able to save both of them."I am shocked hearing this.I can't believe my Luca won't survive.He is successor and heir.He is the result of our love.I am so heartbroken. Domenico came to me saying"Don't lose hope brother.Luca will be alright.If laura listens to us and the doctors everything will be alright."Tears was filling his eyes.I know how happy he was when he found that he would be uncle.He was preparing himself to welcome Luca.But now he'll be preparing for luca's funeral.I can't believe this.How am I gonna tell Laura?

I went back to see Laura. She was still
sleeping.I saw her hand on her abdomen. I will take Laura from here whether the doctors like it or nor.I went to the reception desk saying to discharge my wife.They were confused.The doctors tried to explain me because she still needs to be in doctor's observation.I forced them for discharge. Thus I will take laura home  tomorrow. I will take care of her in our home.

When I came back to the room I saw Laura woke up.After a few minutes she asked me "Massimo what happened in the Matos estate.I want to know ". I became to angry hearing that.She wants to know about her murderer.But I still said to her " Marcelo Nacho Matos shot you.We made a contact, he will never come to you or meet you.You'll be safe."I saw her crying listening to that.I told her too that"Laura will go home soon.We'll go there tomorrow. "My love wanted to ask more but I stopped her saying she needs to rest for the baby.
