♤♡Niklaus's POV:◇♧

"oh my god azalea that's my face not the canvas" i heard raven chuckle when i was about to open the door where azalea and raven were painting.
"but you're more beautiful than that canvas" azalea said
"well if that's the case let me paint on your face because you're the prettiest here" raven replied.
for some reason i was just listening through the door like a creep. so i just entered.
"azalea let's go" i said harshly.
"haven't you heard of knocking on the door before?" raven said
"but i want to stay here with her" she pouted
"azalea i have a surprise for you" i tried to convince her to leave. and it worked
"really? what is itt!"
"come and you'll find out"
"coming!" she said before she kissed raven's cheek and got out with me.

☆Ravenna's POV:☆

after a month, every fucking day has been harder than the previous one.
everyday i see niklaus, he's so cold to me, so dry.
i was in my room, i wasn't taking my meds so i was a mess, i took a shower, and i went downstairs.
stefan was in the kitchen with his wife caroline.
"heyy gorgeous" caroline happily said, she's the sweetest person ever
"hi" i replied.
"how did you sleep, do you still have these creepy nightmares?" stefan asked.
"i haven't been sleeping actually" i replied
"why?" caroline asked
"because everytime i close my eyes i see him"
"it's okay, you need to rest" stefan said
"no no it's not okay, you don't know what it feels like, to be afraid to close your eyes.
you don't know the terror i feel when i wake up from a nightmare only to be paralysed and stuck in my head, i can't get malthus out of my head" malthus is the demon that possessed me when i was 13, the one that wanted my soul and that almost made me jump from the church's bell.
caroline opened her mouth to say something but someone interrupted her
"good morning guys" a blonde girl said, "i was hoping to find a glass of water" she added
"who are you?"caroline asked
"i'm camille, klaus's girlfriend"
i looked at her shocked, and my eyes were wide and teary.
i left the kitchen and wen upstairs to my room.
"don't! don't you dare cry, you moved on, you don't care about him anymore. don't cry." i said to myself
"fuck!"
"he can't love her, he doesn't love her raven, his heart chose you once and will do again, he will always love you. he's just in denial raven" i tried to calm myself down, well it didn't work. 
i washed my face again, and got upstairs.

"raven!" i heard damon yell
"what" i replied
"you're not taking your meds are you" he said
i ignored him and went to the kitchen, i grabbed a beer and sat on the cabine and drank it.
"answer me raven! why are you doing this to yourself"
"leave me alone damon. i don't care" i just quietly replied to him. he climbed on the cabin next to me
"are the nightmares back?"
"yes damon yes"
"you're not sleeping are you?"
"no"
"i'm just sad to see my bestfriend like this and not know how to help, you're my bestfriend raven, i can't see you ruining yourself like this"
"damon I'm fine, really, how's elena"
elena is his wife.
"she's alright, busy in med school"
"well, good luck for both if you"
then suddenly nik and camille showed up in the kitchen
"is this raven baby?" she asked
"yep, and that's damon" he replied
she came closer to me, i was still on the cabine drinking my beer i didn't give her any attention, nor did damon
"so you're the famous raven, i've heard a lot about you"
"all good i hope" i replied,
"of course."
"azalea was sleeping with you on the bed three days ago and she said that you woke up screaming at 3am, why is that" klaus said dryly.
"nightmare"
then this camille lady had to open her mouth and speak again, goddd.
"so she doesn't have to sleep with you anymore, she'll sleep in our room, right baby?"
"azalea chooses where she sleeps, not you" i said
"i see you weren't taught how to speak with older people, especially when you're sitting like this" she replied
"relax, leave her alone she's not in the mood to argue" damon stepped in.
"raven, azalea will not sleep in your room anymore" klaus said
"what!!" i said with a higher voice
"don't talk to me with that tone" klaus hissed
"let's go baby" camille said before they both left
"what the fuck was that!" i yelled storming out of the kitchen
"raven wait" i heard damon yell behind me.
i just can't believe it, he can't do this. azalea is the only one left who loves me the way i love her and he wants to take that peace too.
i took out my anger on a canvas.

few weeks later.

"where were you all day?" stefan asked me, we were all in the living room, and azalea was in klaus's lap. he's not letting me see her much.
"sleeping" i replied.
"eh that's right, don't lie raven we all know you don't sleep" camille said
"if i sleep or if i don't that's none of you business" i said
"how about you tell us why did i find a grimoir in your room" she said
"are you fucking kidding me! you're searching my room!" i hissed at her
"answer the fucking question" she said
"i don't owe anyone an explanation you know, and that's not even a grimoir" i said
"are you working with dahlia? you're helping her get to azalea, is this why you're so attached to her?" she said
"how dare you" i said before i stormed out of the room.
i went upstairs to my room and i locked the door behind me.
i sat on the edge of the bed, i wasn't crying, it's just i dont care, i stopped caring about anything actually, like a vampire who shut his humanity off.
all i could feel are rage and fear.
i was alone with my thoughts when i heard the door handle being moved, someone was trying to enter the room.
"you have 5 seconds to open the fucking door before i break it open!" klaus was yelling, louder than ever.
i didn't do anything i just ignored his threat. 
one, two, three. bang
the door was bursted open by klaus, he stormed inside and grabbed my neck and pushed me to the wall, i couldn't breath but i couldn't care any less.
"what- what do you want" i tried to say when i was choking
"is it true, what cami said? is it fucking true!"
"how can you think that of me"
"what do you do all day day your room then? and the books she found, a bedtime story for my daughter? "
"no"
"NIK YOU'RE KILLING HER" rebekah bursted inside and yelled. he didn't listen
then camille entered and said "well well, if it's not witch bipolar getting choked, did you sell your soul to satan?"
"niklaus leave the girl" elijah yelled
"you mean the witch" camille said
"do it, end me once and for all. squeeze harder nik!" i said
"no you don't get to die, you deserve to drown in your misery, slow painful death. you want to sacrifice my daughter? how about i sacrifice you" he said before he let go of my neck.
i fell on the floor trying to catch my breath.
"why don't you believe me, i was sleeping! and this? these books are from the priest, they have , i do them since i was possessed, it's to keep the evil away" i said.
"liar, witch!" camille said. then she added "i thought you can't sleep because of the nightmares? did they suddenly disappear? "
"noo i'm taking sleeping pills"

"mommyy!!" azalea came in running towards me when klaus stopped her,
"you're not allowed to see her anymore izzie" klaus said
"you can't do this to me!" i said
"i can, she's my daughter, i decide whether she's allowed to see you or not" he replied.
"you're right, you are a monster, before you left you you said that you're a monster and i told you that it's bullshit. but you were right you are a monster" i said.
"let's leave that bipolar witch alone baby" camille said.
"noo i want to stay with her, i hate you camille" azalea yelled tried to get free from her father's hold.
and they left.
"raven, everything will be okay, calm down" elijah said.
"you don't believe her, do you?" i asked
"of course no we don't!" damon said
"raven we'll fix it, i promise" stefan said
"leave me alone, i just want to be alone" i said
"raven please don't hurt yourself, you don't deserve that" rebekah said
"I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE" i screamed
they all left, and my soul left too. so i'm just a living dead person now.
