CHAPTER WARNING: mentions of gore, read at your own risk.

glen has always been the one to get hurt, whether it is getting injured first or experiencing a heartbreak. that's why, he wants to get back.

glen has been working for a secret alliance, doing the job for the boss, which meant, killing someone. he has the great reputation under the do alliance, their own underground company. he's been dubbed as "the whisperer". he is known for getting the victims into skinship, a little touching of skin. after that, he'll torture the victims while saying sweet things to their ear.

right now, he's on his way to meet the next victim on his list. the boss said it was a man as well, who hasn't paid the fines for a whole year due to bankruptcy. he pulls up into a hotel, as said in the address that the boss texted him. he thinks it'll be not easy, considering the last hotel killl he did almost blew. he did kill a famous person, but he covered his tracks of course.

he checked into a different room in a different floor, so he wouldn't look suspicious. luckily, he had a few suitcases in the trunk of his car. as he settled into room 224, he gave the bellboy a tip and sat at the freshly made couch. he pulled his phone and looked at the victim.

the victim seems like already in his near 30's, he smirks as he looks at the picture. cute, he said to himself. his eyes run down to read the name of the victim. ven.. no, way. the smirk in his face was splashed as he regains himself. he couldn't kill ven, he was a nice person. he remembers them from their science class, ven saved his life from getting detentioned to a whole week, reducing it to two days only.

he looks out the window and sighs softly, as he runs his fingers down to his hair. he can't kill, he needs to warn them. he goes up to ven's floor, room 234, and knocks on the door. surprisingly, ven was not alone. they were with a younger man, maybe his brother?

"oh hello, may i help you—"

"wait, glen? is that you?" ven widens their eyes and gasps a bit, running to the door and hugging their old friend.

"it is me, how are you ven? it's been so long, yeah?" glen returns the hug and the younger man, that opened the door, bid farewell to ven so that both of them will have some privacy.

"i'm alright, actually! though there are a lot of people i owe money, yeah.. what about you, how are you?" ven was still the same that glen met in highschool; friendly, all-smiles, a big happy virus too.

"i'm doing good, i just checked in on this hotel and i saw your name while i was writing my name on the log book." the two continued to chat until it was a bit at night, glen bid farewell to eat dinner at his own hotel room, and went up.

glen didn't sleep, he spent the whole time after dinner convincing himself that it was wrong, and he couldn't do it. but it was for the company, so he had no choice.

as soon as the clock striked 9:30 in the evening, he left his room and went upstairs. luckily, every hallway doesn't have a security camera. and apparently, as to what ven has told him, the younger man that opened the door for them, hanying, was staying at the next room. he'll finish this and go back to his room, and leave the hotel.

he knocks softly at the door, and ven opens it. they seem like they were already sleeping before, so they was a bit shocked to see glen back here. he gets knocked in the head by the older and their vision turns black.

glen made his way and has already tied ven up into the chair, unsimilar to his other past victims and attack pattern. he wants to at least taint ven's mind, if he can.

"i'm not going to do this long, i don't have the right to do this either, but i have one favor." kyungsoo coldly says, which makes ven look at him with horror on their eyes.

"do you regret doing this?" ven mumbles as they feel the stare glen has been giving.

"yes, i do. but this is for the company." glen stated which made ven feel fear again.

"we can start again, try to run away and maybe develop something— just please don't do this. cry for me, glen." ven swears they never felt anything like this, the fear of getting killed has never pushed into their mind until this night. glen gripped onto the gun's holster and aimed it at the latter.

"i'm sorry." glen already pulled the trigger and looked away, before he remembered that the gun has a silencer. he sighs as he felt some of the blood has splashed onto him.

he cleaned up and placed the limp body into the bed, and slowly, glen felt tears streaming down his cheeks.

"i can't cry for you."
