Maya's POV

"Is Isabella not in today?" I ask Shonda

"She will be, she's just coming in later"

"Is she ok?" I ask

"Yeah, something just come up, that's all," she said before walking off, obviously not wanting me to ask something she can't answer

"Hey Dani!" stef says happily as she comes over

"Hey, everything ok?"

"Yeah, I just wanted to ask, there's a party tonight at Barrett's house, the start of the season thing, I was wondering if you wanted to go?"

"Sure, ok," I say, internally wanting to scream no

"Ok, I'll see you soon, I've got a scene on grey's," she says as she walks off

"hi," Isabella says as I knock on her trailer later that day

"Hi, can I come in?" I ask

"yes"

"what's wrong?" she asks as I sit down

"Hm?"

"what's wrong?" she repeats

"Stefania invited me to a party, and I said yes," I tell her

"So?"

"I don't want to go"

"Tell her no then"

"I can't just do that," I say as if it's the world most stupid idea

"Why?"

"Because we're not all as thoughtless as you are" I snap, getting stressed

"Enjoy the party," she says as she gets up and leaves her own trailer

"I hate my life" I mutter to myself

isabellas POV

I didn't know where I was walking, I didn't have a scene for another hour, but someone came up to me before I could figure something out

"Hey, Isabella right?" the girl asks

"yes"

"I'm Barrett" she smiles

"ok"

"You don't talk much do you?" she asks as I just keep walking

"You really hate him don't you," I say, gesturing to someone walking ahead of us

"Who? Jesse? He's fine"

"The way you're acting says otherwise"

"How am I acting?"

"you're trying really hard to not have to come into contact with him which could either be a sign that you like him or hate him but judging by the death stare he's getting right now, I'm guessing it's hate."

"Well, you're wrong" she laughs

"Whatever helps you sleep at night"

"Oh, I've been looking for you!" Shonda says, running up to me

"hi," I say

"Hey, you've got a scene coming up, but I wanted to run something by you quickly, can you come look at something for a minute?" she says, being her usual energetic self

"ok," I say simply, following her to her office where she flicks through a few pages of the script

"Ok, so, I remember you saying something about stairs when you first came in, but I can't remember exactly what it was," she says while still looking through, "here. Ok, so, we have it that everyone's in the beanery then something happens, and everyone run downstairs but I didn't know whether or not you would be able to do that. If not, it's absolutely fine, we'll just switch something quickly, so you'll already be downstairs"
