Luke burped as he set down his card for the waitress to pick up. They spent most of the dinner talking about things like animals and music. 'Jessica' stood clear of any private information so an hour was just spent talking about bands. Turns out, they like a lot of the same music and bands. Which Luke was suprised about, nobody usually remembers Green Day and Nirvana.
They walked out and Luke was told to drive to the closest CVS there was. Luckily both of them knew the city pretty well so he didn't need much direction. "You have to stay in the car, sweetie." 'Jessica' said as she pulled her hair up in a pony tail.
About 15 minutes later Luke was parked in front of the CVS and waiting for the girl to get back in the car. He was now in the passenger side because ahe needed to drive to the next and final destination.
Luke thought about the night. He thought it was going to be any normal weekend night where he was the driver and helped out his drunk friends. Tonight was one night he could say he had fun with a girl that didn't involve sex.
He wanted to get to know all about this girl. Maybe it's just part of the fact nobody really knows anything about her and he has fallen into the trap. Maybe it's her beauty. Maybe it's her in general. He doesn't know, he does know one thing: he has a small crush. He can't show it though, or else he'll be like every other guy that's ever seen her face.
"Ready?" Luke almost jumped out of the car. He was too lost in his thoughts to notice her arrival in the front seat.
"I guess." He shrugged and began clearing his thoughts, playing with his lip ring in the process. He watched the scenery whizz by as she drove.
Not even five minutes into the drive Luke began getting tired and his eyes drifted close. While at a stop light 'Jessica' turned to Luke to find him sleeping peacefully. He looked like a small kid sleeping, she found it cute.
She decided to wake him up when she reaches the last destination. He should be rested up for what she has in store. She smirked to herself and began driving.
Luke woke up to being lightly shaken on his shoulder. He looked around and realised that the car was no longer moving. "Let's go sleepy baby, this is destination five: Gregory Mills Co." Luke's eyes widened and he began shaking his head.
"We're not going inside." He said hurriedly. 'Jessica' shook her head and began laughing.
"Are you insane!? Let's go." She nodded her head as she grabbed the Walmart bag and began getting out the car. Luke followed, trusting her to do whatever it is she wants to do.
"You forgot the CVS bag, did you?" Luke questioned having no idea.
"Don't worry..." She patted her pocket with a sly smirk as the began walking towards the buisnesses trucks. It was hidden between the building so anybody driving by couldn't see. 'Jessica' ripped open the Walmart bag and took the white spray paint. She shook it a lot and then opened the cap. Luke watched as she sprayed on a huge "F". She could get into some big trouble because of what she's doing to a company this size.
"What did..."
"Shut up, we're going up." Luke was too busy staring at her vandalism to notice she was climbing the fire escape. He sighed but followed her lead.
They reached the roof and 'Jessica' sat at the very edge of the 40+ story building. Her legs dangled but Luke stood looking over the edge.
They each had the same view of California's lights and buildings, but they saw it differently. Luke saw the beauty, how the lights were perfectly colored to match the night sky. Hot the buildings stood tall and strong. Hell, he even thought of all the people having fun and partying.
'Jessica' on the other hand, looked out and saw everything bad. She looked out and saw every building as a place where people worked themselves to death. She saw the lights and thought of all the people who could be getting drunk and crying into a strangers shoulder. She could imagine all the poverty where the lights wouldn't shine so much.
" Aerona." Luke tore his eyes from the city and turned to 'Jessica'.
"Huh?" He questioned.
"My name, it's Aerona." She restated as she stood up and began walking towards Luke.
"That's a really, uh, nice name." He stuttered as Aerona placed her hands on his chest. She bit her lip and softly placed a kiss on Luke's lips. She felt the cool metal of his lip ring and smiled. Before she could step back Luke grabbed her hips and kissed back.
After about thirty seconds Aerona asked for entry. Luke opened up his mouth and their tongues began moving around with one another's. There was no fireworks. No sparks. No tingly sensation in each of their hearts. However, it did feel as if they were the only two on the planet. Everything from each of their minds vanished as they got lost in the kiss.
As they pulled apart Aerona bit Luke's bottom lip. They both had a somewhat heavy breathing pattern but they just stood their and smiled at one another. "I've been waiting since destination two to do that, peanut." Luke blushed slightly under her words. Luke didn't respond so she took this as an opportunity to start what she wanted. She grabbed the back of Luke's neck and pulled him down for a more passionate kiss. They both began getting lost in the kiss.
