The Mighty Express trains are half animal half train therefore they have special animals ability's and instincts that they are trying to find out how they work

It was morning and going to be a busy day. One of the trains was already awake and trying to get the others out of their shed. "Guys its Christmas Eve and we still have to put up the decorations! Deliver the mail! Bake the cookies! And-" "Yes yes we know Flicker, don't need to tell us twice." Nate said yawning. "C'mon Nate, you know how excited I am for Christmas especially for the Secret Santa stuff! I already made the cards!" Flicker said as he couldn't wait for the event. Every train then heard Max's voice. "Calling all trains! Please report to the busy board for today's Special Mission!" It's MIGHTY TIME!!!" Flicker said really loud and sounded his horn trying to wake everyone up. He quickly snatched a card from the bowl he put there. On his way he read what name the card said.

Flicker, Mandy, Nate, Brock and Milo were the first there. Max then came out on the platform. "You might all be wondering why I said Special Mission instead of Mega Mission. Well that is because I have a very important job for all of you!" Max said loud in the mic. Right then Nico called Red, Faye and Penny on the screen. "Mandy Mail, you're in charge with delivering the mail to the North Pole!" Max said. "Mandy Mail never fails!" The mail train said loud and proud. "Mechanic Milo, you're in charge of making the cookies and hot cocoa!" Max continued. "Mechanic Milo's on the job!" Milo said. "Freight Nate can help put up the decorations!" "I'm gonna do it fast fast faster!" Nate said raising his voice. "Flicker, you're in charge of the music!" "Weeeeeeeee!" The small train yelled. "Rescue Red can deliver the Christmas tree and its decorations! And Peoplemover Penny can bring the kids to Central Square once they're done with school. And in the meantime you can help Nate with decorating! Build-It-Brock and Farmer Faye can go to pointy peak for the surprise delivery." Max finished.
Nico climbed aboard Nate, and were on their way to Central Square with Milo and Penny, while Faye and Red were on their way to Mission Station to get their needed cars. "What is the surprise delivery?" Mandy asked as she hooked up to her packing- and mail carrying car. "Well if I told it wouldn't be a surprise." Max answered. "But don't worry Mandy this doesn't mean your delivery isn't as important!" The pigeon hybrid sighed. "Hey Mandy!" The pigeon heard. She looked over to see Flicker. "I know you might want to do the surprise delivery but every job is very important! Especially the letters for Santa Clause." Flicker said trying to cheer his best friend up. "Alright Mandy, you're ready to go!" Max said. The mail train smiled as she departed. Flicker hooked up to his megaphone car and went to the other side of Mission Station to get diesel. Brock was the last to hook up to his car, he took his digger- and dumper car with him.

Nate was zooming through the station while Milo was making Sugar cookies. "Hey Penny are you gonna help or what?" Asked Nate. "I don't have any arms! How am I supposed to help?" Penny said back feeling a bit useless. "Maybe you can read the recipe out loud. This really helps me because I can't focus on reading and baking at the same time." Milo suggested. "Hey everyone how are the decorations going and cookies going?" Jubilee asked as she came up to Nate and Nico. "It's going great!" Nico said.
