Bruno smiled contently as he took a sip of his coffee, it was a beautiful summer Saturday morning, and all his family was sitting at their patio table talking and having their breakfast. He felt Abbacchio move closer to him, he felt content. Just being here with his kids and his husband was all he ever wanted. Mista and Trish were talking about some show they wanted to watch while Fugo and Naracia worked on some homework that Narancia didn't want to finish last night.

"So, what did you guys have planned for today?" Bruno asked,

"Me and Mista are planning on going to the movies if that's ok."

"That's ok with me, Abba?"

"Don't talk to strangers. Don't forget to go for the eyes."

"Abba, they're going to the movies, not a fighting match. Narancia, how about you?"

"Studying. Fugo said he's gonna help me study for a test. But I really wanna go to the movies too."

"Well maybe if you study after breakfast and do good then you could all go to the movies," Abbacchio said as he took a sip of his coffee before taking a bite of his eggs. Naranica smiled and looked at Fugo and the others with a hopeful look, the other three couldn't help but smile at how childish their brother acted. As soon as the four finished breakfast they all left to help Narancia study.

"So. What do you have planned today Leone?" Abbacchio smiled into his coffee as he looked at the love of his life,

"Oh, you know. Just spending time with someone who has a thing for zippers." Bruno sighed loudly and faceplanted the table,

"Goddammit Leone. I do not have a thing for zippers!"

"Heh. Your stand literally uses zippers."

"Yeah? Well-I..."

"Can't come at me, can you?" Abbacchio said with a smirk

"Shut up." Abbacchio laughed and stood up, he started clearing the table as he relished in making the great Bruno Bucciarati embarrassed.

"Come on lover boy. We better head inside before Fugo kills either Mista or Narancia."

"...Or both." Bruno said as he stood up and walked inside with Abbacchio, unbeknownst to the family of six they were being watched from a tree about two feet from the balcony.

A tiny hand pushed aside some leaves, the owner of the hand poked its head out of the leaves and watched as the two adults went inside. The watcher had fluffy blonde hair that was tied into a braid and had three victory curls just above his forehead, dusty peach skin, and pale gold moth wings, and their eyes were wide and black. They backed back into the tree and flew up to a small bird looking nest, the creature curled up with a smile and started moving some twigs around until the twigs made six stick figures, all with varying hairstyles. They gave a pride-filled smile at their work before their smile dropped as tears started to form in their eyes.

"....mama..."

Abbacchio hummed to the tune of whatever song was currently playing on the radio as he cleaned the dishes from breakfast. Bruno just left to take the kids to the movies, then he would be coming right back so they can finally have "Parent time." which just means that Abbacchio will lay his head on Bruno's shoulder while they watch some stupid day time soap opera while Abbacchio drinks his wine. When Abbacchio finished the dishes he turned the radio off and went to go to the living room when he heard some shatter from the balcony. He turned to the balcony door and slid it open, one of the potted plants in the corner somehow got knocked over. Abbacchio sighed and went to grab the outside broom when he heard something move from inside the pot. As soon as Abbacchio turned to the fallen plant a small head popped out of the dirt. The creature just stared at him with deep black eyes. He couldn't help the scream that left his mouth, he heard the front door slam open as Bruno rushed into the balcony.

"Abba! What's wrong?!" Abbacchio couldn't take his eyes off the peach...thing that was just looking at him from the dirt of the plant, Bruno looked to where Abbacchio was just staring.

"What the..." the little creature looked at the two with still wide eyes, Bruno walked slowly over to the broken pot he only stopped when he saw the little creature start shaking.

"Uh...hello. Um...what are you?" The creature looked at them before popping out of the dirt and flew off on tiny wings,

"Wait!" But the creature was gone. Bruno looked at Abbacchio who was just staring at Bruno

"Well...what a great start to me and you time."

For the next few hours Abbacchio and Bruno were reading up on any and everything about small things with wings. Was that thing a fairy? A pixie? Who knows. Bruno sat down the book he was reading and sighed, he looked over to Abbacchio had his face on the keyboard of the laptop, and was groaning very loudly.

"What a great way for our time alone to go."

"Abba.."

"I want to know what that thing was but god damn it! I want to have me and you time."

"I know Abba." Abbacchio lifted his head and immediately dropped it on Bruno's lap, Bruno smiled and ran his fingers thru Abbacchio's hair.

"Take a little nap ll mi curoe. I called Mista and told him they may need to get a ride home from Risotto or someone." Abba just nodded and soon fell asleep. Bruno smiled as he threaded his fingers through Abbacchio's hair, he paused when he heard a faint knock on the sliding door of the balcony. He very gently moved Abba's head onto the pillow and made his way through the kitchen and stood in front of the balcony door.

He stared in surprise when he saw the creature from earlier flying in front of the door, its tiny hand was raised in mid knock. Bruno quietly slid the door open and walked out.

"Hello little one, did we scare you earlier?" The little creature flew down to the table and started moving some leaves. Bruno watched with amazement as the little creature spelled out three words,

'I am sorry'

"Aw little one, you don't need to be sorry. That pot was horrendous anyway." He smiled and held his hand out, the little creature landed on Bruno's palm. The little creature was about as big as his pinky finger and he couldn't help but smile as the little thing looked at him with a big smile.

He didn't know what the little creature was, but he knew one thing. This little thing was adorable.
