By The Lake(Discontinued)

Chapter 4

Me, Bokuto, and Konoha rode the bus to my house. We all had to squish into one see and the seats where to small. It would've just been better if my mom picked us up in our car. Konoha of course moved bokuto so he'd be seating by me, Konoha is just so extra. I could clearly tell Bokuto wasn't that happy about that, they fought for like half a minute before the bus driver told them to stop.

Anyway we got to my house and first thing they did was just run around the house looking everywhere. My house isn't the greatest, but they just continuously complimented it like it was a three story mansion. After looking around for 30 minutes, we went outside, we didn't know what to do, but there was a big power line in my backyard, my mom decided to give us an idea. She gave us a ball my little sister plays with and told us about Volleyball, I had heard of it at one time, I never really was interested in it though. She said she used to play it, I was kinda surprised by that. She told us how to hit the ball and everything, but with a almost 20 foot high power line, and like 4 foot something kids, it was kind of hard to get it over the net. Surprisingly we actually managed to hit it over a few times. It was nice, but it got boring once my cousin's came over and started complaining about "not playing fair" enough for them, so we went back in, ate some cake, and opened a few presents. It was nice. . . I guess, but it was only because of Bokuto, he was the one who made everything better. . . God I need to stop acting like this towards him, what's wrong with me. . .

Afterwards we all went to bed, in the living room, in a big sleeping bag that fit all of us and watched TV for a bit.

"Kaashi.." Bokuto sad sleepily.

"Ye?" I was still wide awake.

"I wanna go to bed. . . Can you turn the TV down a little bit?"

"Oh yea, sure."

"Good night Bokuto-san. I love you."
I said that with out even knowing. I'm so used to saying that full sentence to my parents or siblings that it just slipped out my mouth. Before I could realize what I said, Bokuto said back "good night, love you too 😪"

"OH- AKAASHI I'M SORRY NDJJSHHS HAHAH I WASN'T THINKING, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IM HALF ASLEEP HAHAHAHA-"

"AHG IM SORRY TOO IM SO USED TO SAYING IT TO MY PARENTS-"

"CAN YALL SHUT UP?!" Konoha screamed. "PLEASE IM TRYING TO SLEEP YOU LOVE-BIRDS."

"LOVE-BIRDS?!" we both said at the same time surprised.

"I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU ARE JUST GO TO FREAKING SLEEP. OR AT LEAST SHUT UP SO I CAN."

We just stared at each other for at least 5 minutes and blushed.

"Bro... I'm straight-"
