Malik ordered a pizza, Cato and Jay got together to decorate my apartment and buy party lights, Verose and Eero went to a liquor store and Verose used a fake ID to buy some liquor. When Cato and Jay got back they had snacks. Donald texted me and said he was coming back later tonight.

They did everything they could to put a smile on my face. Eero even tried to mime, of course he messed up so him and Malik had a competition to see who was the best. In the end Jay got annoyed ans showed them up. Cato doesn't like to drink much so he decided to stay sober and watch us to make sure nothing bad happened. Verose convinced him to play video games and then got mad when Cato beat him at a racing game. He kept demanding another round when he lost and would get overly excited when he won.

We spent a few hours distracting ourselves from our lives and just having our own little party until Donald was supposed to show up. After a while I got bored of it and said I wanted to go out somewhere. They all cheered and raised their glasses at that. Seeing me move on from things so fast must be nice for them.

It was finally nighttime and Eero looked at Malik with a grin and waved his phone. Everyone exchanged looks and then looked at me.

"What?" I asked.

"We're going to another party," Eero was still grinning.

"Where?"

"Downtown. We texted some kids from school and some other kids that we know. They're all heading there now."

"Where is it?"

"We put the money Donald gave us together and rented a party house for the night," Malik threw his arms up in excitement.

"Don't you have to be 18 for that?"

"Fake ID," Verose waved his fake ID in front of me.

"We're getting a cab there since you guys have been drinking and it'd be risky to walk," Cato said.

"It's of the essence we bring a couple of pocket knives for protection," Jay said.

"Way ahead of ya," Verose pulled a switchblade out of his jacket pocket.

"Got it," Malik pointed to his boot, which had a skull in it. It was the top to the handle of a knife.

"Same here," Eero lifted up his skirt to show a knife on his thigh.

"I have a pocket knife," Cato said.

Jay looked at me. "I've got a pocket knife as well so let's get you something."

"Okay."

Eero suggested everyone change, so I let them borrow my clothes.
