We had been walking for what seems like forever. Then we reached this clearing but we just passed through it. Where was he taking me. It had to be at least midnight. My dad was going to kill me.

"Jace please tell me your not going to kill." I said. It seemed like a reasonable statement.

He chuckled. "No I'm not going to kill you." He paused. "At least not tonight." He gave me a playful smirk.

"How much longer?" I asked.

"We're almost there."

I sighed. He'd been saying that for the last ten minutes. I was excited at first to where we are going, now I'm just tired and my bed seems to be calling my name. I was considering asking Jace to carry me.

"We're here." Jace said breaking my thoughts.

A Cliff that was behind the city. We could see everything from Mr.Nights farm to the bridge that leads out of the city.

"It's so beautiful." I said without taking my eyes of the city. If I knew about this place when everything happened I would have been here. I feel like things would have been less painful.

"Watcha thinking about?" He asked. I thought about what James had said about telling Jace what happened. But there was reasons that I wasn't telling him.

One: We just friends I didn't have to tell him anything like that. Two: I did not want to lose a friend. I don't why James is so dang worried about me telling people what happened. It's not like he was any of his business. I guess he just me to be lonely.

"Nothing. Just how glad this is how our night is ending."
