Chapter One: Prue

It's been thirteen months since my husband was killed by a drunk driver. I've slowly started to put my life back together and have finally gotten back into the swing of things. I even opened up my home to Savanah and Steele so they could use my plantation home to get married. The backyard has tables and chairs set up everywhere as the happy couple is inside getting more pictures done. It's a beautiful summer evening. A light breeze fills the air and gently blows my hair in my face.

I glance across the makeshift dance floor and spot Steele's best man Colby. I've known Colby since elementary school and the two of us were high school sweethearts. When he went away to college to play football, we drifted apart and then I met Wade and fell in love. But time has been very good to Colby who is still a delicious hunk of man beef. He's a tall drink of water and I feel like I'm dying of thirst. Quite frankly I'm surprised by my body's response to him. When Wade passed I wasn't sure I'd notice any man again. My eyes roam over his chiseled body, taking in his short blonde hair, warm hazel eyes, and a smile that could charm the pants off of any woman. I drink in the sight of him like a hungry tiger getting ready to pounce on her prey.

It's been a long time since I've been with a man and something tells me that Colby could clean out the cobwebs in my vagina quite nicely. I heard through the grapevine that he's single now as well. His wife had passed away from cancer a few years ago. It seems that the stars and moons have aligned and maybe we can offer each other some mutual physical comfort.

Colby is mere feet from me now and I can't take my eyes off of him. "Hey, there stranger. It's been a long time. How are you?" I ask him.

He leans against the pillar beside me, "It has been a long time. Way too long if you ask me. You look amazing in that dress," he compliments me.

I'm wearing a light green, form-fitting bridesmaid dress. It's got a deep V in the front where my perky breasts are barely covered by the fabric. At least Savanah let us each pick out our own style of dresses that we wanted to wear. I'm a single woman on the prowl and I had to choose a dress that highlighted my best assets.

Sticking my chest out, I lightly stroke his arm with my hand. "Thanks. I'm glad you like it. That tux looks great on you too," I compliment him.

Colby takes a step towards me and he smells of fresh peaches, "I sure have missed you all these years. Time has been very good to you," he tells her as his eyes roam over her body, lingering at her exposed cleavage.

Just as I think Colby might kiss me, we're interrupted by the happy couple, who have taken the dance floor for their first dance. "Catch up with me later," I call over my shoulder to Colby as I head closer to the dance floor to take some pictures with my phone.
