"So uh. It's been a week, I miss you, Callie. All the school has been talking about you like they all knew you. But I was the only one who did, and I was the only one who could've helped you. But you were so stubborn and I just didn't want to fight. My mistake I guess. Everyone is harassing me about what happened. I don't even know. All I know is you were killed 5 fucking minutes after I left. And they're surprised that I don't wanna talk about it. It's all hilarious right? Just one big joke." There was a deep breath. I wanted to tell him that I was okay but from where I was it was forbidden. "Anyways. Your funeral was okay. They didn't allow me to play a certain song that you wanted. But it was okay. Your mother didn't show. I'm sorry about that. I tried hard to convince her but she's so...paranoid. Everyone is. A completely sane man commits murder against a 17-year-old girl who was loved by all. It doesn't make sense. He didn't have motives, Callie." I knew that, I knew Mr. Brecker, and I knew he didn't kill me. It was a dark-haired man. Brecker was blonde.
"I'm going to find him, Callie, I promise you. No matter what. I love...loved you. And if it gets me killed, at least I'll get to see you again."
The phone clicked off.
