Little Mysterious

-Chapter 1- "A new finding"

A select few people from the Lunar Base were ordered to teleport down to an unknown planet out in space and look at what it has to offer. 

These people are Sight, the main leader of this expedition. Then, there is Cosmo, who deliberately thinks he has the highest rank on the wrong occasions. There is also Cozmic, who is Cosmo's best friend and sticks with him most of the time. Finally, there is Non-fic and Fic, who are also close known mutual friends of one another.

A large portal opens and the gang steps out onto the planet, they immediately see that this is a grassy planet. It's very windy and doesn't seem to show signs of life. Everyone goes off to do their own thing, Sight walks off into the tall grass to find out if there's life on this planet. Non-Fic and Fic stay behind to keep the portal open. Cozmic and Cosmo go their separate ways on this expedition, searching the grassy plains.

After some walking in the grass for a few minutes, Cosmo finds himself walking in an area with alot of spiky bushes. The thorns scratch his ankles and this quickly brings him to anger. He uses his powers, this makes his hair raise and his eyes glow brightly. He then blasts away a pathway for himself, this makes a loud explosion and potentially scares away any life they were in search for. He eventually calms down and looks at the destruction he's done, he pauses. "It's not too much damage so I shouldn't get in trouble," he says with a smile on his face.

After a moment of silence Cosmo hears a faint cry from a distance, this at first doesn't get his attention but after a minute of listening to something cry, curiosity gets the best of him and he goes to find the cause of the sound. He steps off the carded pathway he made, back into the thorny bushes. He pushes away the bushes, getting small cuts on his arms and hands. All in to find this source of the crying. 

Eventually, after stepping through bushes, getting cut up in the process. Finally, he finds a large spotted egg within the bushes. An egg that looked to be purposely placed there, in the eyes of Cosmo that is. The egg is twitching violently and small cries can be heard admitting from it.

Cosmo just stands there, staring at the egg whilst thinking what he can do with it. He then scans the area, thinking that the mother might be nearby. The mother is nowhere to be found, however. "Your mother isn't here it seems..hm...You're so helpless out here and you're not helping yourself by crying. I do not want to leave you here", he squats down to pick up the egg, then cradles it.

"Do you know how much I got cut looking for you, you dumb egg thing.", He says jokingly. The movement of the egg decreases, like it knows it's being held by someone, and as if it feels safe with the person carrying it. Cosmo notices these small actions and smiles. "Well, from your response, I guess that means I'm taking you with me. You can be my little child or..something like that". After the cute interaction, Cosmo starts walking back to the group with the egg in his arms. Everyone is gathered around the portal, waiting for him to get back. Sight and Cosmic are the first ones to notice the egg. Sight teleports in front of Cosmo. She practically towers over him. She starts asking him questions, “Mind telling me what that is, Starlight? Where did you find it?”. Cosmo holds the egg closer to his chest and turns away from her. He walks towards the portal when Sight grabs his arm, the eye on her mask glows red to assimilate her anger with Cosmo. “You can not just act like I don't exist! Where did you find the egg, Cozimadiyus!”, she yells. Cosmo jerks his head, he stares at her in shock at the fact she used his full name. He hates it when someone uses his full name, it infuriates him. He yanks his arm from her grasp “Do not ever use my full name. I do not care who you are. You know how much I hate it when ANYONE uses my NAME!!”. “Just...just- TELL ME WHERE YOU GOT IT!!-” Sight stops, her breathing becomes shaky. She takes a few deep breaths to calm herself. She then looks at Cosmo and tries to ask him again “It was the only way to get you to acknowledge me. Now, where did you find it, Cosmo”. Cosmo rolls his eyes at her “I found it over there deep in the spiky bushes. I assumed the mother died. It did a cute thing and it made me want to take it, so I took it. Are you happy now?". He looks down at the egg, feeling optimistic about taking care of it. "You can't just grab an unknown thing just because you felt bad about it. It's nature. It was probably meant to die, Cosmo. That's just how nature is sometimes, things die and there's nothing you can do about it. You need to put it back", Sight gently places her hand on Cosmo's shoulder. Cosmo smacks her hand away "Stop talking to me like this, I'm not a child. I'm 10 billion years old, Sight. I know I shouldn't have interfered but I've always wanted to have some type of pet or baby! I want to take the responsibility of caring for whatever this may be!! I don't want to hear what you have to say about it, I've made up my mind".
