As simple as it seems

Ch.16 mitch is in trouble

Brianna's POV

I kissed Tyler's cheek making him blush. I wave to him bye as I get into Adams car. The whole ride was silence. All I could think about was that dream. "We're here." He said. I got out and grabbed my guitar from the back. "I didn't know you played?" I hear someone say.

It was Jerome. Thank god not Mitch. "Erm... Yeah. When I can." I reply. He opens the door and I step in. I set my guitar down and I am greeted to see more people than before. "Well hello people I don't know!" I say aloud. I am then tackled by Jason. "Well hello there! Do you need something?" I say sarcastic. He chuckled then let me up.

"Bri, this is Ryan,Dakota,Ashley,and.." "Hey bri!" Kyle interrupted. "Hey Kyle!" I say. "And you have already met before b/c of Tyler. Yep I'm an idiot." Adam said making me giggle.

I sit down on the couch and listened to the rest of them ramble on about who knows what. Adam helped me to my room afterwards even though I wasn't staying the night. I shut the door and got out my guitar. ((So I saw this song on YouTube and I know it is from a couple of years ago but I thought it would be a good song for a certain part of the story. Continue,))

I strum the song, ((and this is not the song yet)) demons. Imagine dragons was one of my favorite groups. I softly sang to the music. Closing my eyes and just feeling the music, it helped.

I had ended the song and I could hear whispers from behind the door. I set my guitar down and open the door seeing Kyle,Adam, and a few others fall to the ground.
I laugh at them and they just lied on the ground.

It was around 4 and Tyler texted me he was going to be a little late. So I guess I am here until 5 now. I grabbed a soda and walked into the living room and saw only one seat left right in between Jerome and Mitch. I sigh but sit in the last spot.

They were watching some kind of horror movie. There was a jump scare and I hid behind the person to my right. I hear him chuckle softly and I recognized it was Mitch. That's how it was for most of the movie though. After it ended I threw away my can and I then heard someone knock on the door.

Jerome answers and I see it was lilac,Miranda, and Emily. Kyle walks up to her and kisses Emily on the cheek. Lilac walks over to me and we talked but when I spotted Miranda, my mind focused back on the day I saw them in the mall.

"You okay Brianna?" Lilac asked. I just turned back around and nodded. "So you wanna..." Then the front door opens and I see it's Tyler. "Well I guess I am gonna go chat with Jason." She says walking away. I don't know what to do now so I just look out the window. Staring at the trees and the ground. Then, Tyler comes up behind me and throws me over his shoulder.

"Let me go,Tyler!" I say out loud. "Why should I?" He asked. "Because, i love you..." I say. "Oh. Ok!" He says throwing me on the couch. I laugh. "Rude." I say. "You said you wanted down?!" He said. I sigh as I sit up. "Who wants to go swimming?" Jerome yells throughout the house holding lilac. "I don't! This is rude!" She says. He just chuckles. He walks outside and waves her over the pool. "What is it with you and tossing people in the water?" I ask. He drops her in and comes after me. "NO I WAS JUST KIDDING!!!" I yell before getting

Swung into the water. "C-cold... T-t-towel!!!!!" Lilac says shivering as well as I. Ty throws towels at us and we get out. I change into clean clothes, then sit next to Tyler and Dakota. "We need to get going." Ashley said. "BYE!!!" Everyone said in unison.

The three,Dakota,Ashley,and Ryan, left and I was left to sit next to Mitch again. I was just glad that Tyler was still here. Miranda went into the kitchen to get a glass of water. But then Mitch followed. What is he up to this time?

Miranda's POV

I grabbed a cup and poured out a glass of water. I was about to leave the room when Mitch stopped me.
"What?" I ask. He sets down the drink in my hand and kisses me. I couldn't even pull away, then I hear gasps. "You are such a b****!" I hear Brianna shout. Mitch quickly lets go. "Bri please-"

Brianna's POV

"NO! I was going to trust you and my brother together and honestly I expected you to be the victim. The one who was hurt. But instead you are the cause. And my ex-boyfriend?! You really played the worst card you could have ever chosen. I should have known... You do realize that this doesn't just effect you right?! It effects almost everyone in this room. I can't take this..." I yell.

I turn toward Mitch. "I will deal with you later..." I say, my teeth gritted. I storm outside and it starts raining. What perfect timing. Tears rolling down my face. "I'm done... Just get it over with...

I text Tyler saying I am going to stay with my brother for a bit, then about 10 minutes later I am at his door...
