First person POV

"Good morning Mrs. Rikidou! You have a visitor in your office waiting for you" I waved my hand in the air as I passed by my secretary before taking the elevator up into my office where I saw him. His blonde hair, those beautiful blue eyes and those adorable freckles I couldn't help but smile.
"Hey there buddy!" Even his smile was cute! "Aunt Suki!" He jumps up and tackles me into a hug, I can't help but laugh at his cuteness "I missed you so much!" He cried out happily hugging onto me tightly "I missed you too!" I spun him in the air happily as his mother giggled along "Long time no see! What brings you guys into the city? Thought you wanted to stay as far away from the action and dangers" I questioned holding Eric in my arms with a questioning face Charlotte chuckles nervously.
A long pause had passed of just, staring, Charlotte looks over at Akio who looks over at Charlotte with a long sad frown "Well, Akio and I are going on a business trip for a while and we need someone to watch Eric" I nod in understanding and smile sadly "How long you going to be gone?" I place Eric on the ground and he goes running towards a box of old toys I kept forgetting to sell.
Charlotte walks up to me and grabs my hands "We don't know, we hope it won't be for long but depending on how long it takes we're not too sure" I could tell by the way she was talking she was scared to leave Eric in the city
"Don't worry, I have a pent house out of harms way of any fight, and it's protected by an electromagnetic field, where any quirk inside or out will not work! It's still under a few tweaks but this is going to make living in the city safer!" Smiling I brought a sense of relief to Charlotte and Akio's faces.
Slowly we began talking and catching up with each other as time flew by we decide to go out for dinner before they had to leave, when we got there the place was packed full of people.
But lucky enough we got the last table. We had a fun time together up until Charlotte and Akio had to leave for their flight, Eric was asleep in my arms and I was getting ready to head home. Eric was in elementary school and I had to work extremely early tomorrow. But it wouldn't hurt to take a few days off.
After a few hours we finally pulled into the drive way and into the garage, the darkness of the room was nearly suffocating, I'll admit, I was claustrophobic and hated being in dark rooms for a long period of time. After I put Eric in bed I sneak back down to the living room and turn on the news out of curiosity, not surprisingly my face was on the news, along with the interview they had questioned me about. I didn't regret saying that Hawks was a dishonorable hero but I did feel kind of, seen?
I was used to being in the shadows of others so being in the public eye and given so much credit for being honest was terrifying
"This woman does hold a good point though. Most heroes are just after the money and fame, they rescue civilians who are in the biggest danger but what about all those small crimes like robbery and theft, and what about the parents who live near the danger? Don't you think it'd be more relaxing to know your kids will be safe on their way to school instead of being in danger all the time?" She asked with a concerned expression, it was fake though, she didn't care about my point outs at all.
I 'tch' and walk into the kitchen completely ignoring the TV.
Quietly I reach into the cabinet just above the sink and pull out a wine glass; I felt like downing myself in some red wine.

Time skip!! The next day, Third person POV

Suki jolts upright with a bleeding headache, how much of that red wine did she have, didn't really matter she was still going into work today no matter how much she wanted to stay home with Eric, her status depended on it
"PLEEEAAASSSEEEE, Aunt Suki? Can I go to work with you? I don't wanna stay here all day" Eric begged watching as his aunt doused herself in compacts of makeup to cover the bag beneath her eyes. (I don't wear makeup often and my brain isn't working at the moment) "No, I'm sorry Eric your going to have to stay here, unless you want to hear about boring meetings with grown ups about papers, and bills, and-" She grins as Eric cuts her off "Nevermind! I'll stay here, have fun at work!" Suki chuckles watching Eric run for the couch to put on some cartoons.
Quickly Suki kisses Eric's cheek and rushes into the garage sliding into her twilight fog colored car and drives away, after a few minutes she was at work and rushing for the board meeting she was almost late too.
Luckily she made it in time before the meeting could actually start.
Hours passed by of just meetings and paper work along with mountains of over due assignments
"Mrs. Rikidou! I brought you another cup of tea! You should take a lunch break soon or you'll over work yourself again" Suki's secretary, Mia offered setting her tea down onto the desk watching as her boss berried herself into her work.
Mia sighs at the focus and content of Suki's hard work but couldn't help but worry for her boss;
once she over worked herself on an assignment for so long she hadn't eaten in months, and ended up in the hospital a couple of times for being poisoned without realizing it because she was so drowned in her work"Just run out to the cafe and get me some Cesar salad for now Ms. Reggie, and thank you for the tea" Suki sighed snapping her eyes to her friend and co-worker before looking back down at the papers on her desk, suddenly the phone starts ringing making Suki jump as she searched for it.
"Hello, this is-" Suki cuts off abruptly at the voice, she could recognize that strong voice anywhere. She grew up with him "As formal as ever Rikidou" He chuckles through the phone, Suki relaxes in her seat slightly listening to her old friend all while looking over the papers due by next month.
"You're still as bland as ever, how's being the number one hero working out for you huh?" Suki managed to make him growl with hate
"He had to retire at some point in life and when he did you became number one, just like you bragged about as a kid, remember?" Suki laughs to herself only making Enji growl in anger even more "Still getting yourself poisoned Rikidou? Or are your haters just that clever to poison you so many times? You must hate Hawks to be so blunt about him being a bad hero" Enji tested but it only made Suki grin wider "Still waiting for the poison to kick in, so far it's only brought a sour taste to my tea" She laughed quietly to herself, seriously waiting on something to happen to her, waiting for the end of her life to come as quickly as the poison spreads through her body like peanut butter.
Something was bound to kill her some day, but it wasn't happening fast enough. "So, why are you calling me this time of day? Thought you'd be out kicking a villain, or, trampling over your fans." Enji growls hatefully to his childhood friend
"I saw you on the news and decided to catch up with an old friend, that's all" Enji growls before sighing "Anyways, how's Akio and Charlotte? I heard they got married and had a kid" Enji asked calmly his voice loud and powerful through the phone
"Yeah they did, I'm an Aunt now! Eric is his name, he's a cutie even cuter than Todoroki when he was a child. By the way I heard what happened to UA, is Todoroki alright?" Suki asked tapping her finger on the rim of her work chair as she listened to Enji rant on and on about how his son will surpass All might some day.
"He's fine, retaking his licensing exam but he's doing fine." Enji was like a lightning rod, always waiting for the strongest to hit only to get washed down by the sea. "That's good to hear, I hope you're not going too hard on him after all this time" Suki claimed calmly spinning lightly in her chair, she didn't get an answer so she assumed he was.
"Well I have to get back to work, it was nice talking to you again" Suki smiles knowing full well he couldn't see it and hangs up then looks at her tea.
An off feeling settled in her stomach but she took the drink anyways, knowing that if it was poisoned she could live through it, she always has.
