Lunas' POV

I have my glasses on. Not the ones I use to see Wrackspurts but my reading glasses. I lean back into the comfortable chair where I'm seated. Sighing as I read my copy of 'The Tales of Beedle The Bard'.
Pandora is fast asleep but, for some reason, I just can't seem to rest. I roll my eyes at myself. I know why. Ever since we bought an apartment in Hogsmeade, Panda and I don't stay at Hogwarts with Neville. He comes and visits us during Hogsmeade weekends and sometimes I take Panda to see him at Hogwarts but I still dislike be without him for such long periods of time.
Today is the last day of the school year and it's seeming to last an eternity.
I turn on my side, thinking back to where it all began.

Flashback
"Hello, Neville Longbottom."
     "Oh, hi, Luna. What's up?"
"Those pesky Nargles have hidden my shoes again," I said in a dreamy voice.
I giggle softly at how loony I really was. Even back then, deep down I knew it wasn't the Nargles that hid my shoes.
"I'm sorry, Lu. Do you want me to help you look?"
     "Well, if you're sure..."
"Don't be silly. Of course I'll help you."
We made small talk as we made our way down the hall in search of of my shoes.
It wasn't long before we saw my shoes hanging from the ceiling.
Neville pulled out his wand and spoke, "Accio." My shoes flew towards us and hit him in the face.
I smile fondly at how clumsy my sweet Neville had been.
     "Ow!"
     "Are you alright, Neville Longbottom?"
     "Yeah."
"Good. Well, thank you for helping me find my shoes." Before I could stop myself, I gave him a swift kiss on the cheek.
Once I realized what I had done, I blushed a deep red and quickly turned to head back to my dorm.
"Luna, wait!" Neville called. He grabbed my by the wrist and spun me to face him.
It took me a second to realize what was happening but, as the moment I did, I kissed him back fiercely. I didn't feel the butterflies Ginny had told me about, I felt fire. I would have thought I was dreaming but no dream I'd ever had about Neville made me feel this.
Flashback Ends

As I smile at the vivid memory, forever burned into my brain, I feel a soft kiss on my head.
"What are you smiling about, Lu?" I love it when he calls me that.
"Just thinking about the time you kissed me in the hallway during your sixth year."
He smiles and scoops my up, carrying me to our bed. Taking off his robes and changing into some loose sweatpants, he climbs into bed. I snuggle up to him and, before I know it, I'm fast asleep, dreaming about the amazing summer we were about to have.
The last thing I hear, "I love you, my Luna Lu."
