The street was quiet, but not in an awkward or creepy way. It was mid afternoon during summer in Blackwood. It wasn't too hot nor too humid, just pleasant as the sun kissed her skin. However, Dali was slightly sweating from nerves. She had made her way into town, a week ahead of schedule and hadn't told her father or her brother of her return. Would they be happy to see me? What if they want me to leave? She thought.

She was unsure of herself, she checked the time on her phone. "Dean should be home...maybe I should just call?" Holding her phone in her hand, she opened her contacts and scrolled down to her brothers name. Her thumb hovering over the call button, a million thoughts raced through her mind. Petrified of being rejected, she closed the contacts app and pocketed her phone. In case they didn't want her at the house, she had rented an extremely cheap motel near the airport. Not that she had much to her name anyway, she barely brought anything back from the city with her. It was time to come home and face the music, she couldn't run from her nightmares and trauma forever. Her therapist had suggested it would be good to go home and see her family. Her dad always made sure the grass and garden bed was neat, smiling at the memory she allowed her finger tips to gently drag across the flower petals while she walked. Taking another breathe, she opened the gate and walked through....

With extreme Focus, Todd was eying Misty's cup intending to land the ball inside. "You gonna make the shot anytime soon? Some of us do want to eventually eat Todd." He rolled his eyes at the wench he was playing against, "This game requires a skill you do not understand. Your distractions won't work this time!". At this point, Misty had started to make faces and dance around purposely. She hadn't known the guy long but he sure was entertaining when it came to a game of beer pong. Her distraction techniques were unfortunately not working this round, so she finally settled for staring him down. Although men weren't her type, he was attractive. His eyes were one of his more striking features. In the beginning he did try to flirt his way to winning, but he quickly learnt she was interested in the fairer sex. That had sunk his original plot by a mile.
