I heard her call my name but then these days I do more of ignore than answer. She called again. Oh boy, Eni, you gats go for this one.
One more time, I raised my voice in a soprano "yes", then she sighed.
"Do you count my calls?" She asked when I went into the room.
"I don't. Why the call?"
She smiled. "I've seen a new date."
Shut up!
"Are you going?" Rabia is my cousin. Her dad works in an Enterprise I've never been before and he comes home pretty late.
" Anything you do till I leave, count me out."
I don't want her dad to see me as her influence because he won't be saying it to me, rather, it'd be to my mum. Mum cares so much about our reputation to family that she wants us all to be conscious."Oh come on. He's the good one. Promise we won't be back late." She assured.
"And by 'we' you talking you and him huh?"
She sighed and then grabbed my arm, forcing me to sit right by her in her bed.
""You have to take this step with me, babe. I'm serious."
I stood up again. "No. He's like the others , I don't want an issue with your mum and dad."
She slapped me on the butt and spun me to her.
"Babe please."
I walked out the door into my room and shut my ears with pods.
Like expected, she banged on the door before I went into listening to Rodeo.
I saw her lips move but couldn't tell the words.
So, I'm Eni and life sucks to me. I hate a while lot of things and I'm just cool my way.
Rabia left alone, hallelujah, but few minutes after uncle got back, she called.
"Red flag!" She sang in anxiety.
"What is it this time, Rabbie?'
"I need you to pick me up, his car broke down. "
"Broke ass nigga." I spat and she sighed.
"Once you get here, you'd have to listen to me tell you about not judging someone based on just conditions." She told me.
"That sounds like a total definition of; "he sucks and influenced you." "
She sighed again.
"Just get here."
"Wait! " I could hear her sigh. "Yah both kissed tonight?"
She took time to reply which pretty did sell her off.
"He was too attractive." She said in a baby voice which makes me imagine her way younger, cute, and definitely stupid.
I also imagine hitting her head off her body too, in that baby stage.
"I'm not coming." I backed out my decision to.
"You can't do that. Who's get me then?'
"Hold on." I hung up and went out into the living room.
"Going somewhere?" I asked uncle and he took a turn, surprise on his face.
"Yeah. You have a problem with that?"
"No! Pick Rabia on your way, she went on a date with some stunk and now she needs our help."
He was more surprised.
"She didn't get a permission to leave the house from me."
"That doesn't matter. All that matters now is the fact that she's stuck in the middle of somewhere with some dude she's prolly thinking of kissing again, in his stupid ass car."
He rolled his eyes. "This is the last."
He paused at the door, then turned to me.
"How'd she know this dude again?" He asked.
"A dating app."
"What?!" He exploded. "When did she become that silly?"
I tsked. "Since like, durh, she had you as a father?"
He dimmed his eyes. "Did you just indirectly refer to me as silly?"
"Oh boy! Now they prolly having sex and making their first kid before you get there." I groaned.
" You need to tell me more." He wove his index finger to my face before leaving.
I went back in, asked Rabbie for the address and texted uncle.
They got back, exchanging words and then she comes in with a red head."Did you tell Dad?"
" Was better he asked me the stupid questions than you. PS he needed to be ready for what he'd meet." I said.
"God, Eni!" She groaned. Then sat beside me. "Well, he did meet us making out." She said.
"On your first date? What are you, a whore?"
She rolled her eyes.
"Oh shut up! I'm better than you."
"Says 'a dollar to pull her pant." I said walking off to my room once again.
The day washed off with both of us separated by the fences around our rooms when uncle came back I could hear him grumble about something with aunt and surprisingly that 'thingy' did have to do with Rabia leaving the house to see a stunk.
I'm just kidding, it didn't!
He was talking about his boss who wore a boxer with spider Man on it. He was lit venting out on how absurd that was. That he was grown enough to let childhood by.
Wait! They knew spiderman at childhood?
He caught me eavesdropping when he came out his room.
First glared at me, then rolled his eyes.
"What's his name?" He asked. Oh! We talking about Rabia.
"Stunk?"
He chuckled. Why would he do that? Gross!
"I love that name. But he good looking tho." He said.
More Gross!
"Hey! What are you, lil nas?"
He smiled.
"Let me, scoop..." He sang his way downstairs.Let me borrow their family shit, I rolled my eyes and sighed.
So unpredictable!
A man as serious as him should have his daughter grounded the whole of high school after knowing something like that. But, guess he's so Me... Unpredictable.
Wait! Gross! Not Me... He's unpredictable same way as I but saying Me makes it so gross.
I'd update seven pages every fucking day.
