The Last Time

The next day, Carter didn't show up at school after she went home last night. Rozie was really worried, so, she faked to be choking in class and Sam went with her. Instead of going to the nurse, they went to Carters house. They both ran to the door and knocked really hard, not nervous anymore, and her mom answered the door with tears in her eyes. " What happened?" Rozie asked " I- I-its Carter, she, she ,she's gone!" She said whimpering. " Where did she go?" Sam asked " "She went to heaven." Her mom said wiping the tears of her face. " What do you mean in heaven? Do you mean, she, she, she DIED!!" " Yah, and its all my fault, I pushed her too far, I hit her too hard, I need to take the blame!! I'm gonna, gonna, KILL MYSELF!! " What, just because you took away your daughters life, doesn't mean you need to take away yours!" Carters mom ran in the house, and came back with a gun in her hand, she lifted it up to her head and she moved her finger closer and closer to the trigger and Sam pulled Rozie away so she didn't have to see, and he saw Carters mom fall to the ground, Rozie heard the gun shot and she saw her laying in the ground, they freaked out and ran. They ran right past their bikes, and went straight to Rozies house. They told her mother and she called 911. And they as soon as she hung up, they went to the crime scene. And Sam and!Rozie looked inside and saw Carters body, just laying there, Rozie fell emediatly to the ground, crying and praying that this isnt real, that this is a dream, or a nightmare. By the time the police got there, the step dad had been gone for about 10 minutes. But they carried them away, and sams family and Rozies family got invited to their funeral. But then, they made the disition to have Carter cremated and her mother barried. " We will always miss her!"
