An Excerpt from President Ocasus' final trial: May 18th, 2098,

"When an animal in a zoo turns on it's fellows it is restrained and often moved or put down. Mankind and it's morals have forever fluctuated. Since the time of Cain and Abel, we have turned on each other, abused and stolen from each other, and stabbed each other in the back. And what did God do to Cain? The Lord cursed him and made the land useless to his hand. Well God has finally unleashed his wrath upon us. Cain has struck Abel down for the last time. We can no longer hold the truth from you.

God's wrath has been cast upon us in a way we never expected.

Mother Earth has breathed her last shuddering breath. From the ground, an enemy has descended upon us and conquered. We were not at all prepared for the method in which the end came. We were not prepared for the massacre that followed the arrival. We were not prepared at all.

I have been asked on multiple occasions what the plan is. What our leaders will do, now that the blessing of God has left us. How will we survive? Where will we hide? Well, here's my answer. What can the World council do against an enemy that has been watching us for decades? What can man do against an enemy that knows us better than we know ourselves? The final answer is we don't know.

A man who thinks he knows everything is a fool. We don't know exactly what we will do in this time of crisis. My people are working around the clock to come up with a solution, however, we must be prepared to face a more undesirable future. There are approximately three billion people left on Earth. Just two months ago, three billion were evacuated to Krius, however due to the rush of the flight and the experimental nature of the mission itself, we have no idea if they made it or even if they survived. We lost contact with the crew of the lead ship forty-seven hours ago. Despite all the mistakes that have been made and all the accidents that have occured, the Krius mission could be humanity's only hope for survival. We must pray they made it and that they can lead us to paradise."
