My eyes open. I thought they wouldn't ever again. I look around the room. I seem to be in a hospital. I feel my chest. It hurts slightly, but not much. It's like I never stabbed myself. The door opens. It's a nurse. She checks all my vital signs, gives me a shot, and leaves.
I wake up again. The shot must've knocked me out. I'm still in the hospital. Someone comes into the room. I thought it be a nurse, but it isn't. It's president Henry.
"Hello Sage." He says
"I thought you wanted me dead. Why did you save me when you could've just let me die?" I ask sternly.
"I wasn't going to let you get away with that petty rebellious act."
"What do you want then?"
"I wanted to talk with you."
"Why?"
"I want to know why you did it."
"Did what?"
"Tried to kill yourself when you could've gotten out alive."
"Because-" I stop myself. I can't tell him my actual reason, "I can do really crazy things without my," I hesitate, "medicine. In the arena I didn't have my medicine so-"
"What is your medicine called?"
"It's- It's- called um-"
A nurse suddenly barges in. "Sir, it's urgent."
He gets up and leaves. Then the nurse gives me a shot in my arm knocking me out.
I wake up again. I don't know how much times these people are going to knock me out, but it's annoying. I'm going to out of here. I'm perfectly healed. I take the IV in my arm out which hurts really bad. I walk to the door. I turn the knob to see a nurse. He looks surprised to see me.
