Titus exhaled softly as he moved back into the beach house. He felt slightly uneasy the darker the sky began to get. He stepped into the living room where Zulina was laying on the couch. Her silvery blond hair fanned out around her face and shoulders as she laid on her side with one hand cupped under the swell of her stomach where his little Niece or Nephew grew strong within her. Despite the fact that he'd loved Zulina since she was sixteen, He knew any love he felt for this child wasnt just because of their mother but because of the blood that was bound between them. Family always came first even if the feud between him and Landon had separated the pack perhaps this truly was their destiny and perhaps this child would unite their people against the common enemy. But no baby deserved to have that fate looming over their heads from birth.

Carefully Titus grabbed one of the blankets off the chair beside him and lightly draped it over Lina's body, delicately tucking her in and brushing some of her silvery hair from her face. Even in this lighting she glowed radiantly like Opal in the Moonlight. He envied his brother and Naya was right... His Soul might be bound to the panther but his heart would always belong to his brother's mate. Perhaps one day he'd be able to offer his very existence up for Naya but wounds took time to heal. Egos took longer.

The familiar ring of his cellphone drew him out of his thoughts. When he glanced down upon the screen and saw his brother's name pop up once more he rolled his eyes and answered without hesitation.

"Just Couldn't stay away for the safety of your woman and pup could you. Brother?" Titus said with a faint snort before his brother could respond.

"Fuck off" Landon Scoffed on the other end. "Hey Listen, Its just going to be me, Harper wasnt able to be apart from Sirius I had to drive her back home to stay with him.. I honestly dont blame her for wanting to stay with him... its how I feel about being away from Lina."

"Do you think you can make it here before the storm? Its getting dark out there, Landon" Titus grunted with concern as he watched the angry waves smash against the rocks upon the shore.

"Im going to make it, No matter what" Landon said with determination in his voice. Titus felt himself frown a bit at the thought of losing his brother in such a storm.

"Be careful then okay? This is not how I intend to steal your Mate and your pack alright?" He teased and heard the warning growl from his brother on the other end before Landon joined in on the chuckles.

"Good luck with that one, Brother. She might kill you in your sleep" Landon chuckled.

"You might be right about that, You've awakened a fire in her I never was able to stoke" Titus leaned his head back against the wall and closed his eyes a moment, He felt odd having this discussion with his own flesh and blood. "Get going, Runt. I dont want to hear another phone call from you I want to see you in person as does your mate, you've some groveling to do in front of this poor woman you hurt"
