Morning of the Masquerade Ball. Ch. 5.

It's the morning of the Masquerade Ball Jasmine and Jonathan spent the night in a Hotel Suite thanks to her Mom. After a quick shower and breakfast Jonathan and Jasmine checkout and head home. As soon as Jasmine walks into the house her Dad is up sitting at the counter waiting for her then tells her Adam flaked out on the rest of his community service and a warrant has been issued for his arrest, but the police have no clue where to look for him. Jasmine looks at the clock and notices it's 6am and calls the police. After one ring the phone is answered by an officer, and Jasmine tells him exactly where they can find Adam. "How can you be sure he's there? the officer asked. Trust me I know the son of a bitch." Jasmine said and I know he's at his friend Junior's house hiding in his old treehouse. She gives the officer Junior's address before hanging up the phone. Junior may cover for Adam, but I know Junior's Mom Lori won't. Jasmine said to her Dad before heading upstairs to take a long nap. As soon as the police show up Lori is outisde on the front porch waiting for them where she points to the backyard where the Treehouse is, and tells the officers to get Adam's ass off her property. Adam is making his way out of the Treehouse now as the police are turning the corner with their guns drawn and as soon as they see Adam they all shout at him to GET DOWN ON THE GROUND NOW! Adam instantly falls to his knees and in the process wets his pants. With Adam in police custody Jasmine can focus on her new budding relationship with Jonathan Scott. At the police station Adam was booked and put in a holding cell until he could be seen by a Judge. Both Jasmine and Jonathan were still taking naps while Julie finished the Cape for Jasmine for tonight. Across town Joanna was getting ready to crash the Ball with her boyfriend. They didn't get an Invitation, but that wasn't gonna stop them from going. Joanna hoped to rub her new relationship in Jonathan's face tonight at the Ball making him even more miserable. At five pm Julie wakes up Jasmine to get ready for the Ball down the block Annabel wakes up Jonathan. Both Jonathan and Jasmine are up taking showers before getting ready for the Ball. While Jasmine was getting dressed with Julie's help James got Jasmine a Limo for the night after someone had called to cancel the Limo for tonight. The Ball started at eight o' clock people were finishing up their showers and getting dressed . Jasmine was almost done, but she was missing a piece to her outfit.  Julie went and got the finished Cape for Jasmine to wear. "You finished the Cape. Jasmine said to her Mom. I did. Julie replied while you were taking your nap this morning." Julie put the cape around Jasmine's shoulders, and tied it. Jasmine made sure she had her invitation to the Ball, and anything else she would need. At five mins to eight James called up the stairs to Jasmine Your ride is here. Jasmine headed down the stairs with Julie behind her. What ride. Jasmine asked. This one. Her Dad said opening the front door to reveal a long white stretch limo. OMG! Jasmine said excited Thanks Dad as she gave him a hug. Off you go to the Ball. Julie said. Yeah but I have a stop to make to pick up Jonathan. There's plenty of space in the limo. Dad said Cool. Jasmine replied now I can give Drew, Lynda, JD, and Holly a ride to the Ball. As Jasmine left the house she called over her shoulder Bye Mom and Dad,and Thank You. Jasmine got in the backseat once she had settled down the driver closed the door and got into the front seat where Jasmine told him they were picking up her date and his family. Jasmine sent a quick text to Jonathan saying I'll be there soon. Then told the driver to go straight up the block until he sees a large Spanish Style House. After five mins they pulled up in front of Jonathan's home. Jasmine stepped out of the limo, and called Jonathan on the phone and said Look outside. Jonathan opened the front door and went wide eyed and said Holy Shit! Jonathan partly dressed in a Black tux made his way to Jasmine and the limo. You look absolutely stunning in your dress. Jonathan said. Jasmine smiled and said Thank You. Good Heavens! A female voice said Jonathan you forgot your pants, socks, and shoes. Jonathan looked down, and said Oh shit and ran back inside with Jasmine behind him. Thanks Mom. Jonathan called over his shoulder as he disappeared into his bedroom to finish getting dressed. While Jonathan got dressed Lynda and Holly came out all dressed for the Ball. "You and Lynda look amazing. Jasmine said to Holly. Holly and Lynda turned toward Jasmine and noticed her dress for the Ball. Wow. Holly said. I love your dress Jasmine. Thanks. Jasmine replied. Whose limo. Lynda added. It's mine. Jasmine said but the six of us are going to the Ball in it. Lynda and Holly smiled and rubbed their hands I can't wait to see the inside of the limo. Holly said." While Jasmine, Lynda, and Holly talked Thomas asked his wife where Jonathan, Drew, and JD are? Their still getting dressed. His wife said. Thomas went and knocked on Drew's door where Drew and JD were getting for the Ball. Get a move on you two. Their Dad said. You don't ever keep ladies waiting. Jonathan walked out of his bedroom dressed and ready to go. Much better. Their Mom Annabel said as she walked over and fixed Jonathan's collar and pinned a red rose bud to his lapel. A few mins later Drew and JD came out of the bedroom Thomas and Annabel fixed their sons' collars and pinned rose buds to their lapels. When they were ready to go Annabel took her camera and took a few pictures of her three sons and their beautiful ladies. Can I get a couple of the pictures please. Jasmine asked Annabel I'm sure my parents and grandparents would love some. Sure thing. Annabel said. My Mom would have taken pictures Jasmine said but my hard-headed niece and nephew broke both my Mom's Camera and my Grandma's Camera.  Sheesh. Lynda said. Why don't their parents give your Mom and Grandma the money to replace them. Because neither one of those two twits has twenty-five Hundred dollars to give my Mom and Grandma. Jasmine replied. Drew whistled that's a lot of money for two cameras. They were Nikon cameras. Jasmine said. JD let out a whistle those cameras aren't cheap. No their not. Jasmine said. You guys need to get going their Mom said The Ball starts at eight o' clock. A few mins later Jonathan, Jasmine, Drew, Lynda, JD, and Holly left the house and got into the limo and were on their way to the Ball. Now this is how you travel in style Drew said with a smile. Jasmine smiled. You can thank my Dad Drew. He rented the limo for us for the night. While the limo made it's way to The Orleans Hotel and Casino with it's passengers, but Joanna and her boyfriend had arrived at The Ball at the Orleans Hotel. Without an Invitation they weren't gonna get it in but that wasn't about to stop Joanna. She waited until Security disappeared to take care of a problem so she and her boyfriend slipped in unnoticed.  The limo pulled up to the The Orleans Hotel valet and stopped a door man walked over and opened the door for them. The young man offered his hand to Jasmine, Lynda, and Holly helping them out of the limo first followed by Jonathan, Drew, and JD. Thank you. Jasmine said as they made their way to the entrance of the Hotel Jasmine, Lynda, and Holly had the Invitations in their hands. With Jonathan, Drew, and JD on their arms they headed inside to the Ball. Jasmine, Lynda, and Holly handed Security their Invitations as they made their way into the Ballroom where the Masquerade Ball was held. Sitting at the bar was Joanna and her boyfriend, but the plan she had to make Jonathan miserable went down the drain when she saw Jonathan with a blond in a Red Silk and Black Satin dress, Cape, shoes, Mask, and jewelry.  Jonathan was so focused on Jasmine that he didn't notice his ex and her boyfriend sitting at the bar. Drew and Lynda and JD and Holly went in different directions Jasmine took her Cape off and hid her purse in the hidden pocket inside the Cape. With her mask on Jasmine slow danced with Jonathan to a slow song. In the middle of the song Jonathan and Jasmine shared a slow sweet kiss. That was all it took for Joanna and her boyfriend to leave the Ball and go home. If it wasn't clear to Joanna that Jonathan was so over her the kiss with Jasmine proved that he had found someone new to spend his life with. An hour later Joanna and her boyfriend were home. I think it would be best if we moved closer to our families. Her boyfriend said. Agreed. Joanna said I can't stay in Vegas knowing Jonathan is with his new girlfriend. They packed up everything they owned and loaded the trailer with their stuff and hitched Joanna's car to the back of the trailer and they made their way to Seattle, WA. to be closer to their families. Back at the Ball everyone was laughing, dancing, and having fun. A photographer was on hand to take pictures of everyone. As the night went on people took part in Costume contests toward the end of the Ball the Winner was announced for The Belle of The Ball, and the Winner was Jasmine who was thrilled and thanked everyone including her Date Jonathan. The photographer took pictures of Jasmine and Jonathan, and got Jasmine's address to send the pictures to. By the time the Ball ended everyone had gathered their wraps, coats, or Capes and made their way home. The Limo dropped Jonathan, Drew, JD, Lynda, and Holly off first before taking Jasmine home with her prize. Can I see you tomorrow. Jonathan asked Jasmine.  It's gonna have to be in the afternoon. Jasmine said I have something to take care of tomorrow morning. Jonathan smiled and said Ok and kissed Jasmine on her mouth before closing the door to the limo so it could take Jasmine home.  Jasmine got home five mins later and headed inside as the limo pulled off back to the limo service. Julie was awake making tea when Jasmine came in. Well it looks like you were the Belle of the Ball tonight. Julie replied. I was. Jasmine grinned as she took off her Cape and joined her Mom for a cup of tea before getting ready for bed for the night.
