Faith & Run

only the beginning

As I was walking through the castle I heard a noise out of the ordinary. it sounded like a loud screech coming from outside. As I walked outside it felt like the cool air hit against me like a wrecking ball. just as I was going to take a step I heard a few guards running towards me at full speed one said angrily "princess Ophelia stop right there" I turned my head and looked at them all running towards me. I panicked and ran as fast as I could fully knowing I could never go back.

While running I noticed a ditch on the side of the dirt path and jumped in it listening to the guards running on the dirt path. A few minutes later I got up and looked around "where even am I" I said out loud I decided to look around in the wet forest. When looking around I saw a girl about one or two years older than me even though I am fourteen I never spoke to anyone around my age so I went up to her. She had beautiful brown eyes and hair she was wearing a bit of a raggedy dress but she still was beautiful. "Hey what are you doing here" I said awkwardly. and she didn't respond she just looked at me flustered a bit. I think she was shocked that I was talking to her.

"Hello" she said a bit more flustered "what's your name" I asked with a bright smile. She just sat there blushing for a moment "my name is rose" she replied in a shy voice. I got this weird feeling in my stomach it felt like I wanted to curl up in a ball and My hands got sweaty and my cheeks felt hot

I think she was feeling the same way just then I heard a guard from the castle say in a angry voice "you there get away from  princess Ophelia"Roses eyes widen "princess!" She said in a surprised voice I grabbed her hand and started running. "run!" I said quickly as she started running behind me the guard was right behind us I heard his armor clicking together. rose was having a hard time keeping up with me but we still out ran him we jumped over a log and the guard tripped over I almost bursted out laughing. after we made sure the guard was gone we both sat down on a log trying to catch our breaths "so your princess Ophelia?" She asked. I replied"I am" when ever I spoke to rose I got the same feeling of wanting to curl up in a ball
I started staring off in to space "hello you there" said rose motioning her hand up and down in front of her face

I shoke my head snapping out of the trance "what happened" I asked "you started staring off into space" answered rose.
"I'm so sorry it won't happen again!" I said blushing furiously "it's fine princess Ophelia you don't need to apologize" rose said trying not to laugh. Then I noticed a boy hiding behind a tree. He had blonde hair and one blue eye and one grey eye
He also had a weird marking on the bottom of his eye that looked like an x. He looked around the age of seven I looked over to rose "rose look there's a boy over there!" The boy ran as fast as he could away from us. And I passed out...
