Oneshot

"Why are you always fighting me!"

Leo knows that Raph has never been the most cooperative, but today feels a bit much.

"The hell, just because you're his favorite ya think I'll just sit back and take it like the rest of them. I ain't that obedient. "

Once again, Raph and Leo are arguing.

This isn't the first time, and it certainly won't be the last. A part of you wonders if you should get involved. Mikey and Donnie have cleared, because they know better. Now you're in the dojo, trying to calm this storm. You step between them, and Raph's heated gaze falls on you.

"Move." He orders.

You shake your head.

"I don't know why you've been picking fights, but you have to stop. You're brothers for goodness sake!"

Leo watches his brother carefully. The look he wears, now he's certain. He's known for a while now of Raph's feelings. He just thought if he denied it long enough, then things would get better. But that wasn't the case.

"He's not mad at that. "

Leo's words make Raph clench his fists.

"Shut up!" Raph barks. Leo shakes his head.

"I'm done pretending. (Y/N), Raph has feelings for you."

The statement makes your heart thump for a brief second.

"So do I."

That was crazy, he must be joking.

Both gaze lock on you, and you stumble away.

"What..."

Leo looks like he wants to approach, maybe explain. But you move out of reach.

"N-No I..I need some time."

In a matter of seconds, you're rushing out.

You needed to think.

Leo sighs, and Raph looks even more agitated.

"Good going." Raph grumbles.

"I'm not trying to pick a fight."

"Yeah, well it sure seems like that. Come here to tell me that she's gonna choose you. I already know she doesn't see me that way. So I'll save you the words." Raph grips his sais, sliding them into his pocket as he is about to leave the room.

"You're wrong. " Raph stops, still glaring.

"She's not going to choose. I know she cares about me. But she feels the same for you Raph. Because of that, she won't choose. (Y/N) doesn't want to hurt either of us. " For once, Raph is listening rather than making his own assumptions of what's going on.

"Where the hell does that leave her then."

He knows right about now you're beating yourself up. You couldn't control how you felt. He's stunned that you would even have such feelings for a hothead like him.

"I think I know a way that we all can make this work, if you're willing to compromise that is.

He doesn't have much of a choice.

For the next few days you steer clear. It was stupid. They were your friends. You couldn't avoid them forever. That's why when Leo asked you to come over so they could talk, you worked up every bit of your will power. You walk into the dojo, practically shaking. Your heart wouldn't calm down. You kept reliving that look in their eyes. It makes your body heat up. The second you enter, they both look up.

"(Y/N)."

You're playing  with your hands.

"S-Sorry about what happened. I just..you caught me off guard."

"I get it."

Leo has always been the understanding one. So you assume he's going to say something along the lines of it was a mistake, or he was kidding. That's what your mind is telling you. Because that outcome might be the only way to salvage this friendship that you really want to keep. Even if it means tapering your own feelings.

"I'm not going to sugarcoat this. Or beat around the bush (Y/N). We both love you, and we know you feel the same. "

Your eyes grow wide. Leo steps forward, and unconsciously you back away, because you don't truly believe it. There's no way that these two amazing beings both have feelings for you.

This feels like one of those fanfictions that you frequently read online.

Your back hits something solid, and Raph looks down at you.

Words are lost on you.

"If you say it ain't true, then we'll drop it. '' Raph eyes search your own, and you take a breath. How do you lie and say you feel nothing when he's looking at you. Your eyes well up.

"I-I'm sorry."

You knew it was wrong. You wanted to selfishly keep them both as friends. That way no feelings would be hurt, and you could still be close to them. Before you can offer any more explanations, Raph leans down. You blink when his lips press to your own. It's so sudden, and you don't truly respond, because you still need to process what just happened. Raph pulls back, and you just gape. Leo shakes his head with a smile.

"I thought we agreed we'd share Raph."

"Sorry, I couldn't help myself." He licks his lips with a smirk, and you blush, covering your mouth in shock.

"You kissed me!"

You squeak when Leo approaches, lifting you right off your feet. He's holding you in his arms, those sapphire orbs are like arrows that strike right in your heart.

"We knew you'd make a choice that ensured that neither of us got hurt. You were willing to hide your own feelings to protect ours. So we decided that we'd find a way to make sure everyone ends up happy. We both care about you, and you feel the same for us. So why not share."

"S-Share!"

Raph is grinning.

"It aint gonna be easy. But I kind of like that dumbstruck look on ya face. "

"So what do you say?"

It was a wonder you were still conscious truthfully.

"I-I..uhh I.." Leo leans a bit closer, and your eyelids lower unconsciously. He presses a brief kiss to your lips. He's really making this hard. When he parts, you're on cloud nine. What person would say no to something like this.

"Sure.."

You mutter dazed. Leo chuckles.

"I have a feeling this will be interesting. "

Well, that was one way to put it.
