Ricky Bowen and EJ Caswell finally (formally) met each other, and it was... something.

"Why are you so cute?"

That was the day Ricky had his 'Love Switch' activated... the day he formally met the boy who would change his life... also the boy was Gina's boyfriend. In only 2 weeks they developed a... interesting relationship, including their own routine.

"Hey." "Hey." "Hey." "Hey." "Hey." It comes in flashes all the times EJ would scare Ricky by standing beside his locker.

"Holy shit." "Fuck." "Shit." "Ugh." "Stop it." Also in flashes all his responses.

EJ tried to befriend Ricky... in the wrong ways.

"I... was wondering... since all of our friends are in rehearsals you... may wanna go out?"

"You're asking me to go out with you?" Ricky said, clearly confused.

And if there's one thing Ricky's sure about, he's not gonna let any 'not confirmed crush' hurt his best friend.

"What's your deal? We literally met like a week ago and suddenly you act like we're best friends. Are you trying to get me to date you or something?" Ricky said in an angry tone.

"What if I am?" EJ teased him.

"Really?" He then grabbed the boy by the shirt and stump him into the locker beside him to start screaming at his face.

Gina on the other hand, actually helps EJ to befriend him, even if... you know...

"I'm your girlfriend and you're treating me more like a friend lately... not that I'm complaining." Internally, she was.

When the boys finally cleared things out...

"I wanted to let you know that I like Gina, I really do, and I have no other intentions with you whatsoever... other than possibly being friends?"

... they finally started a friendship.

"Do you wanna get ice cream, and maybe talk about your bad day? I'm a good listener." EJ moved his ears with hands. Ricky smiled.

But little did Ricky know that he actually 'met' EJ a while ago.

"Please tell me it wasn't you the one who guided me to the bathroom." [at the last cast party] EJ nodded and laughed, both ignoring what they felt when that happened. "Thank goodness you move fast, otherwise I probably had my nose bleeding."

"Right?" They laughed. "And the day the girls left for camp?"

"You were the guy from the window."

"You and I... us... meeting each other, I think it was fate." EJ said.

It was crazy to believe, but maybe it was. After that day Ricky finally came to his senses and admitted to himself what was happening.
