(Dipper pov)

6 months later

I sit in Bill's car as he drives us to his house, my hand out the window going up and down with the wind. Hearing my phone go off I look at it seeing a text from my dad. "What did he say?"

"He wishes me good luck and says I can always come home if things don't work out."

"That's good. How did your doctor appointment yesterday go?"

"They said my eyes aren't getting better but they aren't getting worse either. Kinda a stalemate for the time being."

"Well at least they aren't getting worse currently. "

"I guess. How we going to get around with all the equipment?"

"Tad is letting us borrow his RV. We can store everything in it and save money by sleeping in it instead of renting motel rooms. You want to play one last song before we leave this town for good?"

"Sure.....what if things don't work out on the road."

"Well we can fake it till we make it. If things get too bad we can always just come back and keep working to try again."

"Okay."

He pulls into his driveway where Kill is waiting with his bass hooked up and ready to go. "So we doing this thing or what?"

"Yeah yeah just give us a damn minute." Bill waves him away as we get out of the car. I hook up the guitar and Bill sits behind his drums with his drumsticks.

"I've been waking up in the city for so long
Keep my growing bangs 'cause I'm startin' to move on
Take a little time to admire the view
There's nothin' I would change about the time I spend with you

On my way
On my way...
On my way
On my way to somewhere

Lookin' back around like I need your permission
Know it's always hard when you know what you're missin'
Walk a little further to the unfamiliar
Rippin' out the pages it won't kill ya

On my way
On my way
On my way to somewhere
On my way
On my way to somewhere

I'm gonna cross state lines in my first car
Over and overheal my broken heart
I'm gonna reach new heights with every fall
I'm gonna be all talk but do it all

On my way
On my way
On my way to somewhere
On my way
On my way to somewhere

I'm in double time when you're all in slow motion
Burnin' down the house livin' for the commotion
Where do I begin with whatever I want
See me runnin' out the door

I'm on my way
On my way
On my way to somewhere
On my way
On my way to somewhere

I'm gonna cross state lines in my first car
Over and overheal my broken heart
I'm gonna reach new heights with every fall
I'm gonna be all talk but do it all

On my way
On my way
On my way to somewhere
On my way
On my way to somewhere

Seeing what's in front of me I got double vision
Take a deep breath, make a decision
If memories were put up in hotel rooms
And you would take the bed I said I'd come and stay with you
On my way
On my way

On my way
On my way
On my way to somewhere
On my way
On my way to somewhere

I'm gonna cross state lines in my first car
Over and overheal my broken heart
I'm gonna cross state lines in my first car
Over and overheal my broken heart
I'm gonna cross state lines in my first car (On my way, on my way)
Over and overheal my broken heart (On my way to somewhere)
I'm gonna cross state lines in my first car (On my way, on my way)
Over and overheal my broken heart (On my way to somewhere)
I'm gonna cross state lines in my first car (On my way, on my way)
Over and overheal my broken heart(On my way to somewhere)"

Bill surprises me by wrapping his arms around me and kisses me on the cheek. I roll my eyes slightly. "Let go and let's get the equipment in the RV."

"Fine fine but we will continue this more later."

We take an hour loading all of our band equipment into the RV.

Once that's all done I go to get in the RV but Kill stops me. "Hey, Dipper. You got your licsense last week right?"

"Yeah, why?"

He tosses me at the keys. "Then you're driving."

"I....I-I don't...."

"Too bad."

He gets in the RV and I follow him.

Bill sits in the passenger seat and Kill sits at the table.

I get in the driver's seat turning the RV on. "So, where to Pinetree?"

"I have no idea."

"Sounds like a perfect plan."
