I thought this moment in my life
was going to be great. I would go to school with all my friends, and make the best memories possible. Having so many best friends, that would never leave my side. Even until I was an adult.

All that changed when my mom opened her new store, far away from home. She knew how badly I wanted to stay in our home town. We left it all behind anyway. I moved to this big house, and big city. Not knowing where I would belong. But my mom had it all planed out.

She took me to Lake High School. It was Saturday and I had to get my pictures taken, for my school ID. Of course it turned out ugly. I never really thought any school took wonderful pictures. But it didn't help that it was 8:00 in the morning. I most definitely looked like a zombie. So I was only thrilled to get out of there, and fast. I also happened to notice how huge the school was, it really freaked me out.

While I was getting in the car, my mom mentioned at the last minute that I had to come back the next day. For some, freshmen orientation. I didn't even have School supplies yet. I had no idea what I was going to do. What outfit I was going to wear. On top of all that I had to learn in one day, how to take the train. Some lady my mom was friends with said I could ride the bus that the school provides. But my mom called the school and asked and that lady turned out to be wrong. I just moved there and I had to rout my way home. My mother Calera promised she would drop me off at school and pick me up the day of orientation. She also told me she was volunteering to serve the lunch at the bar-B-Q we were having outside. I barely slept all night just thinking about it. When I got there I was forced to meet people I didn't know. I didn't like it at all because I'm super shy. I also got lost like one hundred times. I almost cried. The worst part was, I had to come back on Monday. With even more people.
