2 week later

Lila's Pov

At 6:00 my alarm went off. I looked at it then rolled my eyes. I turned it off. 5 minutes later mom came in.

"Wakey-wakey sleepyhead." she said.

I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes. School. I don't wanna go.

"Hey li(lee). Lana and Fred have two girls about your age. After wanna come with me and meet them?"

"sure mom."

I began getting ready to go to school. Katie then called me.

L- Hello?

K- hey li. Can I pick you up?

L- sure. Im getting ready now so give me 25 minutes?

K-yeah sure. Call me when you're ready.

L- Kay. Bye

K- byee

I finished changing then put on makeup and walk back to my room. I grabbed my things and waited for Katie to come. I was wearing a striped dress with a black cropped knit sweater and a creamy white infinity scarf. My purse was just black. I wore kneeish high shoes.(pic on the right)

10 minutes later Katie showed up. We walked to school and looked for Jared. Once we fond him we all walked to class together. After school Jared, katie, and I went to my house. We just waited around until mom got home from shooting. When she came home, she drove us to Lana's house to meet her adopted kid. Once we got there, Lana introduced us to her kid, well kids.

"Ok guys, I adopted two kids. So theses are my girls. This is Mackenzie who is 13 years old and this is Kathleen or Kathy for short. She's 14. They will start going to your school tomorrow so Katie and Lila, would you show them around?"

We nodded our heads then smiled. Lana's girl look pretty. They looked sporty too. They took us up to their rooms. We went to Kathy's room first because Mack she her room wasn't fixed yet. We talked and we learned a lot from them.

"So what do you guys like to do?" I asked.

"Well I like sports, singing, art, t.v, and video games." Kathy said.

"I like reading, dancing, and gymnastics." Mackenzie said.

"That's cool!" Katie replied.

On that night we all became best friends. We promised to protect one another from anything.

Emilie's Pov

The girls and I stood around the island eating grapes and strawberries Lana put out.

"So Ginny, we have kids now. Are you planning to adopt?" I asked.

"Um. Not right now. Josh and I are ok with Oliver. And if we every adopt we'd probably get a baby."

"Yeah that's true." I said. "And Lana just out of curiosity,y why did you get to girls and hey didn't they take Fred's name? Well last name. Not to be rude or anything like that."

"Well the girls were sisters before we adopted them. And they were so sweet together. I just love them together. And they didn't take Fred's last name because I kept my last name when we got married and I thought they should take mine."

"Oh ok. Jen how is it with Katie?"

"Oh its great. Someone to keep me company. I love it. She's such a sweetheart. How about you and Lila. Wait does she know about Eric?"

"It's wonderful. She's a sweetheart. We bond all the time. Yeah she knows about about Eric. And Eric knows about her but he's out of town so they haven't meet in person yet."
