Cage and Bell thought it would be fun to go into the old Orphanage just a few miles away from Bell's Grandfather's old farm. Cage had brought his Ouija board, and Bell had brought some candles. "Let's go to the scientist old office, they say it's the most haunted room in this old place!" Said Bell as her and Cage went up the stairs. "Or maybe we should go and check out the bedrooms." Cage was saying as he tried to kiss her, but something caught her eye. "Hey look up there Cage! What do you think it is?" Bell was pointing to the ceiling as something shiny was sticking out of it. "I don't know let's look and see, shall we!" As Cage started to climb up the old stair case banister, bell cried out and told them to be careful. "Careful Cage if u fall I don't think I could carry you back to Grandpa's farm!" "Don't worry I'm a natural at this!" Cage continued to climb and finally got to the top, he tried to grab it bit it was really wedged in there. "I can't get it, I think it might be up in the attic. We'll have to go up there and see." Cage then jumped down. "Well where's the entrance to the attic?" Asked Bell. "I'm not too sure; it might be in one of these closets or something." They started to open up the doors trying to find the opening when they came a crossed the teachers room. "There is still a bunch of books in here." Said Bell. "It looks like he just went on a vacation and never came back." Mentioned Cage. "And nobody dusted! It's dustier in here than in my grandpa's old garage." "I don't know well let's go and find the attic now." They walked down the hallway and saw that there was only one door they hadn't opened. "We'll I guess this is the lucky door." Said Cage. Bell opened the door and they went inside Cage pulled the stairs down, as they went up Bell mention smelling something burning. They got upstairs and saw someone in a circle of candles they hear her mumbling. "What are you doing here?" Asked the lady. "Were just here looking around, are you ok?" Asked Bell. "Look Bell let's just leave." Said Cage. "If you guys want to know what it was like so badly then why don't you go and live it!" "Bell come on! Let's get out of here!" The lady started to yell something as they were running out of the attic; they got down the stairs and started to hear voices of kids and adults. They got out of the house and were suddenly in a different time period.
Kathryn Harvey walks up the old dirt road trying to comfort Tom. Because of the hard times there wasn't enough food for Tom his 2 sisters and 3 brothers, and because he was the youngest and his parents couldn't take care of him. She notices two teenagers running out of the house and into the woods, she didn't think too much about it. "I promise you a good, nice couple will come around and adopt you! Just give it some time. Ok you ready?" He shook his head yes. Kathryn knocks on the door and Stella opens the door and looks down at tom. Tom imminently backs up to Kathryn and starts to whimper. "It's ok Tom this is Stella! She's going to be your new mother. Why don't you say hi?" Tom just keeps trying to backing up. "Ohh he's just shy, just give him a couple days to get use to everyone." Said Kathryn. "That's ok, and what's his name?" "It's Tom Rodgers, Tom this is Stella." "Well nice to meet you Tom, why don't you come in and we'll get you settled in?" Said Stella "Well I have other duties I have to do. I will be back later. Make sure Tom get settled in fine." Kathryn said with a smile. Kathryn walks back over to her car and get in. Kathryn backs up and drives down the road. Stella walks outside.
"Look here, Tom". Stella hisses. "These are our rules here at WordSmith. One, there will be no running through my house. Two there will be no talking back! Three, you will be respectful, and listen to every helper here. You are not allowed in the basement, kitchen, my room, or any of the girls' room. Four, there is a school for the kids here. You will show up on time, prepared, and ready to learn." Stella pauses for a minute. "If you do not follow my rules, you will be put in the bad kid's room, for twelve hour. All alone, no one with you, and there will be a song called Dominique that plays for the full twelve hours. Before I send you to the room though, you will get whooped with the whip. For each rule you break its ten lashes with the whip." Stella stops and gives him a stern look. "Oh and the last rule of them all, you are never to tell anyone. I mean ANYONE, what goes on in this building. If you do, I will make sure you are never heard of again. Got It?" Stella said with an evil voice. Tom nods his head. "Y-Yes ma'am" Tom stutters.
