Night of the Felidae

Knock Knock Knock

Silver opened her eyes to the sound yet she did not move, she just laid still as her green eyes stared.

Knock Knock Knock

She groaned as she sat up and glanced at her hotel door, 

"Who could be knocking around at this time!?" she moaned as she finally got up. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she grabbed a t'shirt as well as some jeans to make herself descent.

Knock Knock Knock

The knocks got louder, 

"Ok, Ok!" she called as she dragged her hand through her black hair, she walk to the door half asleep and opened it, That was when a body fell on her. 

She fell to the floor with a thud as the air was knocked out of her lungs, she looked up to find a pair of blue eyes looking down. His expression was as shocked as hers.

"Jared!?"

Jared was tall and thin and he had short blonde spiky hair which was longer at the back, he wore black skinny jeans and black trainers with white straps. He was also shirtless. After a second of hesitation Jared stood up with speed and slammed the door shut, he breathed deeply like he had been running. Silver remained dazed on the floor, she had never seen him act like this before, 

"Jared?" she said as she got her breath back, she sat up slowly, 

"Jared, what's wrong?" 

He did not answer yet he stayed silent, Silver could see that sweat was dripping from his forehead, 

"Jared?" she repeated, she finally stood up and approached him. She placed her warm hand onto the cold skin of his shoulder as he flinched at her touch, he sighed before spoke,

"They're after me"

Silver froze, "What?" 

"They're after me..." he repeated almost shivering as he did so, 

"Who? Who are after you!?" Silver responded, she wasn't quite sure she could believe what he was saying,

"Felinae"

His voice was almost a whisper as he said the name, he glanced at her when he spoke and then he returned his attention to the door as he clenched the handle tight. 

"...I...I don't understand..." she said as she let go of his shoulder, Jared was starting to scare her, 

"Felinae. They've sent a Felid after me...to kill me..." he spoke in between deep breaths as he glanced back at her. After moments of silence his features froze, he looked at the door and then back at her before returning his gaze back to the door, 

"...I should have never come here..." he whispered as he finally moved away from the door, he backed away slowly and then turned around to face Silver, she shivered with fear as well as shock, 

"...Jared..." she squeaked, "...your scaring me..." 

Jared placed his cold hands on her cheeks,  

"Silver, I need you to listen to me...If they get in I want you to run out that door and keep on running and don't look back..." 

Tears started to stream from her eyes and onto his hands, "Jared..." 

"It's important that you do this for me Silver, I want you to run as far away as possible do you understand me?" 

She sniffed,

"...I'm scared" 

"I'm scared too"

Suddenly the door opened yet it didn't open fully as before it could Jared had put his full body weight against it so it slammed shut again, the door shuddered as Jared pushed against it with all his strength.
